  Updated, Clean, Convenient, Friendly

  Many time management youll read good reviews about the condition of a property and you arrive and not as advertised. This was not the case here. Very very clean everywhere in the hotel! Nice accommodations for the price for sure! Very convenient to the River front, restaurants etc We will come back here again!!

  In the heart of downtown

  Great Hampton. Very clean. Our room was very spacious. Staff were very nice and accommodating. We were there during off season so the hotel was very affordable ($106/night). They dont have a parking lot, but do have valet ($20/day). Because it was off season, we easily parked on the street at night and paid the meter at 9am the next morning. Located in the heart of downtown with easy walking to the river walk and restaurants.

  Cleanest hotel ever

  Seriously, this is the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in! Its a scary time to be traveling (covid), but I felt very safe here. Telia, the housekeeping manager, was constantly cleaning to ensure the the staff and guests were safe. She is amazing! The other hotel staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. All staff kept their masks on, the hotel provided a boxed continental breakfast, and hand sanitizer was strategically located throughout the lobby. If you have to travel during this pandemic and desire a clean safe hotel, look no further than this one!! Seriously! Say hi to Telia for me. This is the first time Ive left a review on TripAdvisor.... I had to share my experience!

  Clean & friendly staff

  Came as a family and we had so much fun in the pool! The hotel and room were very clean and updated, the staff was great, the location was perfect, and the parking was very easy! The breakfast was simplified but it was still a great breakfast!

  Excellent Experience

  What a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Because of business travels we have shopped around historic downtown Wilmington, and without question, the Hampton inn knocks it out of the park. The attention to cleaning, sanitation, and safety is clearly at the forefront. They have a beautiful facility, with restricted access to the pool and gym, both are available for use but with strict guidelines and limitations on capacity. The rooms are generous, have great amenities (fridge and micro are a must in my book) and the staff is willing to accommodate. Can't say enough about the experience we've had there. 100% our hotel of choice in the area, without question.
