  Diamond Members Beware

  This hotel priorities non diamond members higher than legit diamond members. Tried to check in early and even though they had rooms they did not let us! Said they could not because I selected the digital key option. I thought digital key was supposed to be convenience options however has proved not to be the case for us. Keep in mind the next time you select.

  Great place once my business group arrive the service was awesome and the rooms was cleaned and well kept. I would recommend us staying here for our next business trip. Staff was awesome and very helpful.

  Be Forewarned

  Horrible experience with management. My 1st visit was in March 2020 and other than the walls and ceiling are paper thin along with teenagers running up and down the halls it was clean and at a reasonable price. I came back in town in June 2020 to lay my mother to rest and the Hotel was far worse. 1st they charged me (FAR) more money than the 1st trip, for the same amount of days I stayed. 2nd they did not tell me the breakfast bar was not available due to the Corona Virus until I got there. They also never came to my room the whole 7 days I was there. They never changed my sheets, they never vacuumed, they never changed my towels, they never emptied my trash cans. On the 3rd day I went to speak to the manager and ask if someone could please come to my room and change my towels and supplies while I'm out. OMG you would of thought I was asking for special treatment...He started yelling at me saying don't you know we're under a pandemic. And how dare I ask his staff to come change my towels and sheets. He then said If I wanted them changed to go to one of the maids in the hallway and change them myself. I ask him why is this hotel even open if it's that bad. Picture this everyone...you're charged over $200.00 dollars more than you did 3 months prior and I got a bed to sleep in. I promise you I will never stay in this Hotel again. Not even if they offered me a free room. Manager should be fired for talking to a guest like that.

  Rude staff only concerned with their "policy"

  We had a death in the family and had to organize a trip for my son. Called the Hampton Inn & Suites Xenia Dayton to make the reservation for the next day. An hour later had to cancel the reservation due to un-avoidable circumstances. The staff was accommodating in canceling the reservation but would not refund the money. They also refused to push out the reservation two weeks while we arranged future travel plans. They did this under the guise of "It's their Policy". All emails and messages to management were unanswered.

  Great Home Away from Home

  This is my second time saying here. I came in the fall of 2019 and in September of this year 2020 to take my grandson to college. I found this location convenient to shopping facilities and places to eat. This visit, the staff members were on high alert due to the virus and executed strict sanitary policies which I appreciated. The area where the hotel is located is safe and leaving my SUV loaded with all the supplies that college students take to school on their parking lot did not cause me any concern . On this visit, my daughter left behind a belonging that she is using in a body building competition and much to my surprise the management mailed the equipment to my home. Thank you so much for your kindness!!! This will be my home away location when I come to visit my grandson at Central State University. Phyllis, Ft. Washington, MD
