  Great stay!

  Defaulted to this hotel because our original one was full and our room wasnt clean at check in. So happy we switched! Great rooms! Little fridge and microwave in the rooms. Mike at the front desk was super accommodating. Bent over backwards to make everything perfect for us. Breakfast was good to. Breakfast sandwiches, cereal, fruit. Good coffee, too!

  Very Nice

  Eric greeted us with kindness and proficiency which was important because we were weary travelers. We chose a king suite with a wet bar which was an excellent option because we brought food from home so with microwave, fridge, and sink we were set for dinner in our room. The layout of the room and storage options were well planned. The bed was very very comfortable. The shower was excellent, but I would have liked the toilet separated from the shower stall area. Breakfast was pretty good considering we are in the midst of Covid regulations. We did not use the pool or workout center, but both looked inviting. The parking lot was convenient and well lit which matters to us. I only gave 4 stars because I could not get the WiFi to work properly (maybe that was my fault?), and there needs to be two chairs at the work space. The location is outstanding for dining, shopping, and highway access. We will definitely stay here again.

  COVID Raging-No Masks

  Iowa's governor declared a mask mandate, the Hampton Inn website specifically states staff will be masked and we arrived to discover the front desk person was not masked. When asked, he quickly put one on, saying 'oh yeah, we're not enforcing it'. Guests could be seen without masks, freely roaming about the lobby. Needless to say, we left and cancelled our pre-paid reservation. The manager, authorized the refund; the management is obviously aware of this breakdown in compliance.

  Great Hotel

  The hotel was clean and in great condition. Hotel staff was friendly and took care of everything. I felt safe and secure. I didn't have breakfast as I am trying to avoid crowds however it was offered. Lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. in the area close by. Lots so choose from. I would definitely stay again.

  Right On Stay

  Ended up here on business, a Friday night, and experienced a wonderful stay with comfortable beds and furnishings, very polite and professional staff, and well sorted room offering most everything one could need for a night - except of course the super weird almost nasty aftertaste to the tap water as seems almost all hotels have. I noticed we had plenty of smart options for soaps and the pillows were very comfortable for the night. Sadly breakfast was not the wonderful assortment of last year's goods but still well thought out enough for the current pandemic climate. We enjoyed the great location and quick access to many solid restaurant options and shopping, maintains as the superior value best hotel chains.
