  Excellent Customer Service & Nice Rooms

  OMgoodness I love love love great customer service and Vernon & Kay gave me just that!! As the 1st people you come into contact with it really sets the tone! The room was super clean, cute & comfy!! I highly recommend. I WILL BE BACK!

  Great as usual

  Great service - great value - amazingly large efficient smart welcoming room - easy in and out. Internet good - cookies great - convent location - near my business venue - Everything clean, bathroom well stocked, mini kitchen fantastic

  5 Stars - Enjoyed our stay

  My daughter was a student at Gardner-Webb and I had the opportunity to stay at Hampton Inn in Shelby on 3 occasions. Each time the facility and the property was always clean and well-kept. Social distancing was professionally practiced and the staff was always very nice. I would like to give an extra special shoutout to Maria, your evening front desk employee. Maria was very courteous and professional toward my daughter and myself. I felt that she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I would like to thank Maria for her professionalism and kindness. She's wonderful! *****5 STARS FOR HAMPTON INN***** *****5 STARS FOR MARIA*****

  Not the best Hampton, but it will do

  We spent one night while in town for family business. We were recognized as loyalty members and greeted warmly. We made a change to our reservation on check-in and it was very easy. The rooms look new or newly decorated. The colors are pretty and the furnishings are comfortable. The standard WiFi connection was horrible. Our devices would not stay connected. In this day, free and reliable WiFi should always be available. The breakfast bar was still closed, as we expected. The notice in the lobby said that take out bags would be provided. The hostess didn't offer one and we didn't ask, so I'm not sure if they are really doing that.

  Hilton can do better

  Soooooo we used our hilton honor points to stay at the Hilton Inn in Shelby North Carolina. We have family in the area, and we were excited about the stay... I have not posted about a hotel stay in quite awhile but.... I feel I needed to share this! The room is filthy! Being that covid 19 has everyone thinking about sanitizing and cleanliness and this is what we get! *please note photos The bathroom floor had hair all over it as well as the carpet... the pictures are just a bit of the actual picture... so disappointed with my room and my loyalty to Hilton!
