  Good Hotel But Check In Is Another Story

  We stayed here this past weekend for my daughters dance competition and our stay was nice. Clean rooms and nice hotel but I am leaving this review because of my check in experience I dont have a chip on my debit card I use a local bank and for some reason they dont have chip cards yet... this is never an issue anywhere I go. It wasnt an issue IN LAS VEGAS OR NEW YORK. BUT it was at this hotel. Upon check in initially the girl was very warm. She welcomed us and wished us luck for the weekend... then she saw my card and her attitude and demeanor changed and she said we dont take anything but chip cards so I probably cant check you in so I said you cant swipe it? She said no. I said you cant manually enter it? She looked me in my eyes and said NO. Then she goes back to talk to the manager and comes back and says ok Im gonna manually enter it. I said I thought you couldnt? She said I wanted to make sure it was ok with them first. What!? This still has me mad. Terrible customer service! Not only was her tone RUDE!! She LIED to my face knowing the entire time she could enter it manually and had me a nervous wreck thinking that I wasnt going to be able to have a room. Fix this!!! Not everyone is going to have a chip card. And more importantly BE HONEST with your guests. Im shocked that you cannot swipe a card at the hotel but Im even more upset that I was lied to upon check in and treated the way I was because of a chip on a card. The rest of the stay was great but that experience killed my review. Other than that beds were comfy, shower is very nice, and the breakfast is better than any hotel like this that Ive had.

  Comfortable for family trip

  We came for a family funeral and found that this was a comfortable place to stay, get a good breakfast, and gather with other out-of-town family in the down time. There were lots of restaurant options nearby and it was a convenient location. It was nicer than we expected!

  Nice hotel. Close to lots of restaurants.

  Nice hotel. Facilities in great condition. Looks pretty new. Close to lots of restaurants. Easy access just about a block away from the highway, but far enough away that you dont hear any road noise.

  One Saturday night stay

  Cons: - walls very thin, heard TV and conversation from next door room all night - covid-related but very poor breakfast choices and method of delivery - had to wait quite a while to check in as no one was at the front desk - covid masks were not enforced, even with signs everywhere Pros: - standard Hampton quality - nice towels, good water pressure, comfortable room - located in a nice area of Dallas

  3 Days of excellence

  Not all Hampton Hilton's are the same....but this one is at the top! From the time we checked in with Carmen, who was spot on pro; she was welcoming, knowledgeable and the Best front desk person we experienced. Didn't have to ask for nothing, she provided us with all the hotel's information without even asking, upgrade was a breeze water..you name it! Hotel was spotless and welcoming. Even saw Carmen sweeping the floor...she does it all. Devin saw my spouse and I returning with our arms loaded after being out...he ran to the elevator opened it for us and pressed our floor number. Justin made our checkout seamless and wished he safe travels....small details that will have us returning as welcomed guests. Breakfast was COVID style, but times are as they are! Love this hotel and it's employees!
