  Blocked of 1/8 of Hotel for Our Wedding

  We have tried tirelessly for 5 months to get our Hilton Rewards points from the rooms that were booked and have received some of the worst service from this hotel manager. She has acknowledged that we should get the points but will do nothing to help us. Hilton Corporate has told us twice that they have not received the paperwork but the hotel says they have sent it. (From talking to the manager there seems to be an issue on the hotels part) Eventually, after two emails, she has just quit responding all together. I know this may not seem like a huge deal if you're not a reward member but just think about what is going to happen if you get overcharged or you get the wrong room. It doesn't seem like the staff are knowledgeable enough to help in the event something goes wrong.

  Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus Didn't Disappoint

  This was our first stay at this property, however, our daughter has stayed here several times. She highly recommended the Hampton in Columbus. The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The breakfast was slightly better than we have had at other Hamptons. The only negative was the less than friendly staff when we checked in. We had to wait for someone to show up at the desk, and when she did, she was not enthusiastic about doing her job. We would stay here again.

  Excellent Stay

  Beautiful Hotel!! Excellent Stay!! I will definitely stay at this hotel again when We are in the area again. Will definitely recommend to my Family and Friends. The beds were super comfortable and soft!

  Delightful

  We had a reservation and were going to arrive early. I called to ask for an early check in, but our room type was not going to be available. The manager very nicely upgraded us to a different type of room so that we could go ahead check in ahead of the recommended time. She was very pleasant to deal with and we appreciated her being so accommodating. Having stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns, we were pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The Grab and Go breakfast is not all that exciting, but considering the circumstances of the pandemic, we appreciated the biscuit, fruit cup and water they offer. If we return to Columbus, MS, we will definitely stay here again and we highly recommend this hotel.

  Would have been 5 stars, but...

  The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was very friendly until checkout. We recently moved from the area and have family there so we had planned to stay at this hotel many times in the future. Due to our checkout experience, we will stay elsewhere in the future. At checkout I wanted to change the card being charged. Thought this was no big deal as we have done this multiple times as we dont want the charges to go on the credit card but we dont want a large hold on the debit card. Out of 100s of stays no one has ever had a problem until this checkout. The lady checking us out made such a big deal even after me stating that we have done this many times that it almost seemed degrading of me. She did stop once I told her I was to the point of tears and could take no more. BUT it should not have reached that point.
