    Good stay during Covid-19

    They had an amazing breakfast with smoothies and lots of toppings for waffle plus their lobby had a place to read or watch TV. The one thing i didn't like was that they had ttheir fitness center bieng taken down. Overall I really like this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Quick Stop

    First I want to say what a great job Melissa did- She was on 3-11 by herself and had a large group arrive and had to handle them all plus other guests arriving and she handled it. Room was clean and just what was needed!

    It's OK, but needs updating

    I can understand staying at this Hampton due to its proximity to the airport. You can tell it was not originally built as a Hampton, but it does have all of the usual Hampton signage, pictures and furniture. The rooms are slighly smaller than a typical Hampton. The place is clean and the beds comfortable, but the free, hot breakfast is nothing to brag about - and they don't even offer breakfast on Monday. And of course no room service due to the pandemic.

    Not taking proper COVID-19 precautions

    First, the positives: This location is well-maintained, and the rooms, some of which are newly remodeled, are clean and tidy. The fitness center, though small, has equipment in good working condition. And the service was friendly. That being said, I would never stay at this location again during the pandemic. Despite signs informing guests that masks are required in public areas at all times, I didn't see a single employee of the hotel properly wearing a mask. Not one. The man who was vacuuming the lobby, as well as the breakfast server, were wearing masks below their noses. Does the management of the hotel really fail to realize that droplets and aerosols go out through a person's nose? Wearing a mask over just the mouth simply encourages nose breathing, which only increases airflow from the nose. The front desk agent (as well as a maid who was cleaning a room) didn't even make a pretense of wearing a mask. No mask at all. I almost asked the front desk agent why he wasn't wearing a mask, but I didn't want to prolong the conversation. I just wanted to get out of there. Perhaps he would have said that the plexiglass barrier - with large gaps below it - was supposed to provide protection. Forget the hypocrisy of employees not following the mandate of the hotel's signs; don't they care at all about their guests' health? This is an airborne virus, so all the sanitation in the world won't prevent the virus from spreading if the employees don't cover their mouths and noses with masks. On a much less important note, breakfast consisted of one item, a sausage-and-egg sandwich.

    Above and Beyond

    We stayed as part of a group for a wedding and it was perfect for our needs. The hotel was very clean and we noticed the rooms, linens, hallways all smelled very fresh and clean. Room was comfortable and the in-room microwave and refrigerator were clean and in great working order. The staff was wonderful! Patrick at the front desk was especially accommodating to the large family group and even with precautions in place, we were able to spend time together. The free breakfast was great,under the present restrictions and the gentleman serving the food was awesome and maintained adherence to Covid precautions. We have always found a Hampton Inn to be fantastic and this one was no exception. It was a great place to stay!
