    Un lugar agradable, limpio y con una atención del personal excelente.

    Es muy confortable llegar a un hotel donde y como en esta ocasión la estancia fue por negocios, puedas descansar y recibir un trato de excelente calidad, desde la recepción hasta el personal que atiende el comedor para el desayuno, así como los detalles en la limpieza del cuarto. Felicitaciones a todo el personal.

    Recent stay on the Coldest Night of 2020 in Deer Park

    I have stayed here in the past and recently spent five nights at the Hampton Inn Deer Park just a couple of weeks ago. Overall nice hotel clean and good breakfast however the room I was in was very cold all night long. I was in a room facing West and the cold air came through the window freezing Cold!! Overall nice property but on a cold night get a room facing East. The Hotel Management made up for it and thanks.

    Terrible experience

    The primary staff experience we had was with Rick Fingerman. He created an extremely negative experience for our stay. We were there as a part of wedding party. I had 2 reservations. One of the rooms, I told Rick needed to sleep 6 people, including the bride and bridesmaids, for the bachelorette party. He told me that he would put us in the biggest room and we would be fine. When we checked in, we discovered he had booked us in a king suite, which sleeps 4 people. The bride went to the desk to ask about this. He came to the desk and was EXTREMELY rude to the bride, talking over her, extremely condescending (I would go so far as to say he was mansplaining to her as a man to the little girl), and made her experience the day before her own wedding very unpleasant (however, Jocelyn at the front desk was incredible and the ONLY bright spot of this interaction). He finally agreed to give us rooms that would sleep all the people who were supposed to be there, and at no charge for the EXTREME inconvenience. Unfortunately, this apparently didnt make it to whoever ran the billing, because we were still charged for the original, incorrect room that was never even accessed the entire night. When we discovered this, the bride sent an email to Rick hoping that it was just a simple, quickly fixed error. Instead he said that he never promised that and wouldnt be fixing it. She responded with what their conversation contained and how we expected the card to be refunded. Rick took nearly a week to respond, and sent a very condescending and unprofessional email to her (Im talking sarcasm and caps lock unprofessional), and clearly will not be upholding his promise to fix his error in booking us in too small of a room. He personally soured the entire experience, I am in complete disbelief that this man is the person representing your brand for large bookings (including weddings). He is extremely unprofessional, rude, condescending, and misogynistic. Be assured that NONE of the guests who stayed there for this wedding will ever be staying at your hotel again, and we will be sharing with others the terrible experience we had as a result of the treatment by Rick. He is solely responsible for our terrible experience.

    Very Nicely Done During the Pandemic

    The room was nice and was clean. There were so many changes due to the pandemic and they did a good job. Daily housekeeping was suspended, and that worked fine. The free breakfast was boxed, and nicely done. I will stay there again.

    Dog poop

    The inside of the hotel was very nice. super comfortable bed, televison was great, etc. However, when I opened my curtains to face the wonderful Eastern sunrise I saw a huge mound of dog poop outside my window. The front desk did admit that the apartments next door probably were the culprits. She said this happens a lot. I recommend the maintenance frequent the outside and make sure the poop is cleaned up. It is really disgusting to look at. Also, can the management of the hotel speak to the management of the apartment complex about this. Dogs are nice but their poop is really gross.
