Rude staff and very dirty hotelThe young man who was working in the middle of the night was incredibly rude and was too busy on his cell phone to help me. He made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience. My AC DID NOT work properly ( so hot ) and tv did not work in room. I tried calling but no answer at the desk late in the evening. A dirty towel and used Kleenex was on the floor in the bathroom when I first arrived. Just what I wanted to see when we are in a pandemic like this. Other Hamptons have been putting these stickers on the door to let us know that no one has been in there after it has been disinfected. I didnt see one and especially on my door. The bed looked as if someone just laid down and rolled around in it. BOTTOM LINE: This place was the worst and would never recommend this hotel to any friends or colleagues. Please teach the young man working late a night customer service skills and dont be a jerk when a paying guest interrupts your tv show and phone call for a concern.

Great one night stayGetting tired while travelling, we stopped for the night at this location. Happily they had plenty of rooms available as most of the relief workers had left the area. We were in a King Suite that was a very good sized unit with ample room to lounge, work and sleep in. Due to Covid-19 restrictions many usual amenities were not available, especially the Breakfast. The place is rather dated still having a tub in the bathroom in lieu of an enclosed shower. It was a very quiet location making for a good nights sleep. It is conveniently located off I-10 and to other dining and gas stations. The parking lot is not protected by security but we had no issues. The staff at check in were very friendly, efficient, and helpful. I highly recommend a stay if you are in the area. I hope you find this review helpfulin making your next travel plans.

DisappointingSo I just have to say that I hate staying in Baton Rouge, thru the years we have never found a hotel that we felt was up to par mostly because the staff never seems to care whether were satisfied or not. Seeing other reviews this could be just me. We stay at Hilton hotels because they have an amazing cleaning/sanitizing routine. During the pandemic its the most important thing to us. We also stay in accessible rooms - some more accessible than others. This room had a shorter toilet which made it difficult for my husband to maneuver. There was no double accessible room available so we stayed in a king. We always need extra pillows in a king. When we asked for pillows we were told there were none. Even tho the hotel was far from capacity. Hard to believe they couldnt find two pillows but like I said - they just dont seem to care about customer satisfaction. There were no vending machines even though the Hilton site shows vending machines on the hotel site map. Its pretty much standard at Hampton Hotels. Anyway - the stay was disappointing for a Hampton but par for the course in Baton Rouge.

Great StayMaxine at the front desk made the check in easy and stress free, which was nice after 11 hours of driving. Thanks Maxine! Room was clean and comfortable. Local restaurants offered delivery right to the room.

Almost 5 starsMichelle at the front desk was amazing. The amenities in the bathroom outstanding. Most hotels skimp on the soap, but this place had hand bar soap, body bar soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, a vanity kit, AND a shower cap! The location seemed safe. We would stay there again. The main reason that I give the hotel a 4/5 is that the place needs *better maintenance*. The lampshades were crooked like I had to prop them up. The picture in the bathroom had water damage. The tv was small and outdated. The remote didnt work properly. The corners of bathroom floors were disgusting... and the shower was not cleaned properly. (There was something left in it.)
