  Highly recommend

  I was very impressed with this hotel. As we arrived, the guy at the front desk was very polite and welcoming. We asked for a room higher and with a view to the mountain, and he was very accommodating. The room was sealed as we got there, showing that they really take extra precautions to clean the hotel in between guests. Everything else inside the room was sanitized as well, you could tell they care. Everything was very neat and clean and it was a relief knowing that we could feel safe. The customer service was very good and even though I went to get my breakfast after hour, the lady at the front desk still honored it. I wish I could have spent more time there, we were on a road trip and just stayed overnight. By the way, they have a parking around, but as that gets full, you can park at the garage across, on the top at no charge. Room price is very great, as well, very affordable considering the quality they offer. Highly recommended!

  Great Stay!

  This was in a great location. Right at the base of big and little cottonwood canyons. Close to food shopping, etc. They did offer a dinette style breakfast which was nice. The only thing I thought was weird is we had a king suite and there was no table just a couch and desk a lot of wasted space in the middle of the room. I would stay again because the accommodations were nice and the location was excellent!

  Awesome Hotel!

  This Hampton Inn checked ALL the boxes. Location was perfect for skiing Alta and Snowbird! Beds & pillows were new and comfortable Very clean rooms, lobby and breakfast area Fresh cooked - HOT breakfast every morning, including eggs seasoned potatoes, bacon, bagels, fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, juice variety, coffee. The staff served our breakfast to us every morning, in compliance with COVID regulations. VERY friendly staff serving breakfast. In the evenings, our family played games and cards (we brought) in the breakfast area tables. Great inexpensive option for family ski trip

  Wasnt impressed

  I wasnt a huge fan of this hotel. Although it was clean, the service wasnt great. The walls are paper thin making it impossible to sleep with night owls. My tv never worked and wasnt fixed. They do not have water fountains and the front desk always seemed bothered when asking for a water bottle and only allowed one per person. They werent super friendly. the garbage was overflowing outside and i didnt have regular room cleaning services so the trash piled up. I just hate stingy hotels so this wont be my first choice again.

  Poor

  We didn't have a good stay here. First, we stayed here for one evening and picked it due to proximity and a nice looking pool/hot tub for myself and my daughter to use. Even though we checked in advance to ensure the pool/hot tub was open, only when we went to use it at 5pm did we find out you need a reservation and that the hot tub was booked for the entire evening. Disappointing for a kid (and adult)! Some other annoyances - unfriendly service (we didn't see any smiles from staff even though the Hampton slogans imply that it is a happy place to stay), out of stock on breakfast items, unsalted areas of parking lot, needing to park across the street, digital key not being ready, and a very crowded property. On the positive side, it is convenient to skiing in the canyons and cleanliness was very evident (the room even smelled like vinegar and/or Lysol).
