Sure cleanArrived later in the evening. Pleased to find a clean room - maybe one of the cleanest rooms Ive stayed in. Front desk staff super friendly and efficient. Only disappointment was how loud the room was from other guests (who werent otherwise disruptive). The HVAC unit was also loud. That being said I would stay here again. Good value.

Tired HotelRooms and property poorly maintained and seriously overdue for a refresh. Three positives: comfortable bed, Property location good proximity to highway without noise due to surrounding tree cover, continental breakfast was decently stocked. Several big misses make this a no return for us: nasty carpet and smells in both rooms we had, yellowing/molding caulk in bathroom, 1 elevator out of order, 2nd elevator buttons barely worked and gave us a few scares we were going to be stuck inside. Good thing we are able to take the stairs. The walled patio had potential at one time, but the dilapidated 5year old umbrella precariously dangling from the pergola, and gas fire pit were unusable. Be prepared to be locked outside on the patio- card scanner broken, with no easily visible exterior exit to parking lot. Had to call front desk to let us in. They kindly showed us their high tech security solution: a secret rock to prop open the door. Or option two: traipse through the do not enter area gravel path around back of building to re-enter through the front. Um, no! Finally, service can make up for some of these things... however desk attendant was blatantly pushy upon check-in when I didnt feel like giving her details on purpose of my visit. After the third time of giving her a no answer, she stopped only after my husband commented on her persistence. Pool was not used- closed due to Covid.

Nice big room, but noisyThis was a nice sized room- with 2 Queen beds, a desk and chair and a small sofa and small table. It might have been a sleeper sofa (I didn't check). But it is so nice to have the sofa and a chair so 2 people can have a place to sit to have a glass of wine, or eat carry out or share a pizza. So many Hamptons have only 1 chair. The room, and the whole hotel, was nicely decorated in grays, black and a touch of red. Very attractive. The door had the Clean Stay sticker on it, so no one entered it after it had been cleaned. Gives you some peace of mind during this pandemic. Housekeeping was available on request. We just asked that the trashcans be emptied and fresh towels the next morning. And that is just what we got. Breakfast was the usual Hampton fare, except they didn't have the waffle makers out. But everything was either in a baggy or wrapped- apples, bread, English Muffins, bagels and the main entrees. The gentleman that worked both mornings we were there, did a good job of keeping everything refilled, wrapping the entrees and washing down the tables after each us. They had removed some of the tables, so the remaining ones were nicely spaced from each other. Breakfast was only until 9:30, not the usual 10:00 for Hamptons, but we always get up fairly early, so that wasn't a problem. My main concern was that it was very noisy for a Hampton. The first night, we had a young child above us that ran and yelled for a long time, until finally we could hear a knock on the door and voices. Someone must have told them to quiet down, as it got pretty quiet after that. The next night, we heard banging doors from the time we got back from dinner until after 11:00 PM. The next day, as I was checking out, the Desk Clerk how asked our stay was. I told her how noisy it was and when there are sports teams there, they should confine them to all one floor. She said they always do confine them to one area on one or two floors, away from Hampton Elite and Gold members. Plus, due to the rain, the games had been cancelled and they didn't have any teams there that Saturday night. Well- some people really like to slam doors! The other problem was with our room's location. We were in Room 312, and there is a 3 pronged very bright light outside the window and a big Hampton sign. Even with the drapes closed, it really lit up the room. I really wish hotels and motels would do away with the heating/air conditioning units in each room, as there is no way to put drapes around these units and block out the light. Since my husband was a Police Officer, and often slept during the day, we have always had black out drapes and it is difficult to sleep with so much light coming in. Still, despite the light and noise problems, we had a nice stay and enjoyed this Hampton very much. Nice location and far enough off the road that we heard very little noise.

Excellent Stay! This hotel will be added to our list of favorable places to stay on our trips to and from Florida. First of all, it is very convenient to Route 81. So, it was easy on and easy off. All of the areas such as the Lobby, the breakfast area, halls and room were very clean. They placed a sticker on our door that insured that the room had been well cleaned. That was very reassuring for us. All personnel were wearing masks. And that is so important during this COVID pandemic. The decor in all of the areas was attractive. The room had everything that we needed such as a microwave and refrigerator since we brought our own food because of the pandemic. However, we should have paid a little more and probably would have been able to secure a room with a couch and coffee table which would have made it more comfortable while eating dinner and relaxing afterwards while watching TV in the evening. The bathroom was spacious and had all of the usual supplies that most places have. The beds, pillows and linens were of good quality and comfortable. The staff members were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast attendant and the rest of the staff asked if we were enjoying our visit. We will definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again if we are in the same area. It was excellent!

Paradise in DisguiseAfter an extremely hard days night we were greeted by an angel at the front desk. Libby was fantastic and we cant thank her enough for taking care of 2 weary holiday travelers. The rest of the stay was just as wonderful. After a comfortable nights rest, Mark safely prepared a warm delicious breakfast accompanied by some of the best coffee we could ask for. Checking out with Karen was a delight as well. She willingly helped us by taking a couple of pictures by the Christmas tree. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again. Conveniently located (yet quiet) off I-81, safe and well-lit parking lot and exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms and common areas.
