  Hotel normalito, aislado de cualqueir cosa, no tiene restaurante y lo más cercano es un italiano normalito al que llegas tras 15 minutos a pie. El hotel en sí, típico de la cadena, ni mucho más ni mucho menos de lo esperado. Desayuno también normalito. Válido para pasar una noche de visita de camino a un cliente por la zona norte de PA.

  Falta de limpieza

  Las sabanas y cubre camas estaban sucias y manchadas de sangre cuando llegamos, las cambiaron posteriormente. No realizaron la limpieza de nuestra habitación, hasta las 10 pm que nosotros llegamos y lo exigimos.

  Lo esperado, pero 2 problemas

  Todo es lo esperado en base al estándar de todos los Hamptons, sin embargo 2 problemas que empiezan a ser molestosos: 1. La gente de limpieza inicia sus labores 8am y su llamado de las puertas puede resultar molestoso, debes usar el rótulo de no molestar necesariamente y 2. La clave del WIFI debes realizar varios intentos antes de tener suerte y ver que usaron los dos apellidos cuando te registras usándolos. Por lo demás todo bien.

  Horrific

  Upon arriving I was greeted by the stench of pot smoke and 4 barefoot people yelling in the lobby harassing the poor person behind the desk. When I got to my room the entire floor wreaked of pot smoke. When I complained the front desk did nothing to figure out what was going on but offered me spray. When a dozen people started screaming and swearing in front of my room I called again and they said they would take care of it. After 20 minutes of screaming it escalated to physical violence. There was a 10 person brawl on the 4th floor. I had to call 911. The police came and broke up the fight and kicked out some of the people who weren't even staying there. I was staying there alone with my son and I was legitimately scared to leave me room. The staff did NOTHING. I have never ever experienced something so ridiculous in my life. The next morning there was blood in the elevator and ripped out hair clumps in the hallway,. When I spoke with the front desk the next morning they apologized and said they would comp my room. They did not. I was charged full price to stay in hotel that probably gave us a contact high and exposed my child to a violent foul mouthed brawl. At no time did the staff do anything to make the patrons feel safe and deal with the problem. There were multiple youth hockey families there and the inaction of the staff put us all in danger. All of the families were horrified.

  What a pleasant surprise and OH, the Customer Service!

  I honestly don't understand the other, recent negative reviews AT ALL. I made a last-minute emergency trip from Macomb, Michigan to Philadelphia beginning on Dec. 6th, following the deaths of 2 family members in the family of my childhood best friend. I'm a high school teacher, currently having to teach remotely (online) during the pandemic, everyday from 7-2, so I needed high-speed Internet and reliable wifi. I hadn't been back in this area for 25 years and had made no reservation ahead of time because I wasn't sure how long I was staying. This Hampton by Hilton, right off the PA Turnpike in Willow Grove seemed like a good location and from Trip Advisor, it looked like it had the amenities I wanted. There was a brief glitch upon arrival the first night, after booking for just one night through TripAdvisor. Due to security policies, the main doors were locked at 11 pm and without I room key yet, I couldn't get in without using a buzzer and as it turned out, it wasn't working (the hotel is currently undergoing very nice renovations). When I finally got in, the night person at the front desk, Christian Cobette couldn't have been more apologetic and immediately gave me an upgraded room and free upgraded wifi service, usually reserved for Hilton Honors program members only. He was simply awesome! My lovely, upgraded room on the 4th floor (on the north side of the building away from the train tracks) had just been renovated and was simply lovely! When I went down in the morning to ask if I could stay another day at the same low rate in the same room and with the same amenities, the General Manager, Cyrus, made that happen right away and even gave me late checkout for 3 pm so I could fully teach my high school classes remotely from my room before having to check out. I ended up staying another 3 days, all at the same rate, and all with the same courteous and kind customer service from every staff member I encountered from the front desk to housekeeping. Their Covid-19 prevention policies were second to none as well! HUGE thank you to Christian, Cyrus, and the rest of the remarkable staff at Hampton-Hilton Philadelphia/Willow Grove for the best travelling experience EVER and giving me more value for my money than I ever expected. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Carolyn
