Very good place! This really is a great hotel-a nice addition for an area that doesn't have much in lodging. I would have given it 5 stars but we did have a minor problem. The bedspread/comforter was so heavy and combersome we didn't sleep well one night. A very poor choice for an area that has moderate temperatures year round. There may have been a blanket in the closet, but in the middle of the night we didn't look. Everything else was fine. The web site doesn't do the hotel justice. Long, narrow halls with unique lighting and attractive carpet. Rooms are spotless. Beds are comfortable. Love that Hampton preserved a beautiful brick building and kept some arcitetural details. During Covid they offer a "take away" continental breakfast. Nice, when some lodgings offer nothing. Most rooms appear small-we had a large suite and it was delightful. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this to anyone!

No ComplaintsLiked that room door has a seal on it denoting that it has been sanitized. Property has elevator or stairs. Gym not open but looked like it had a good selection of workout equipment. Breakfast is kind of a grab and go of cold cereal, oatmeal and packaged pastries. Room was very comfortable. Was awake but heard trash truck in morning. Seemed to me you would have to drive to find something to eat, there is a small market with beverages in lobby. Property is very clean and well maintained. Would stay again.

Clean, comfortable and convenientI am a local and wanted to stay here for a while and finally did. The staff was so welcoming and friendly and the place was much brighter and inviting than I had expected. The rooms are not large but they are comfortable and well laid out. I requested the 2nd floor to enjoy a bit of view of the town and it was a nice sunset that evening. The room was incredibly clean and well sanitized. It's very convenient to get on the highway or downtown. The smart train is also walking distance as well. I would absolutely recommend this place to a friend.

Nice building and staffNice: - lovely building, spacious and new room. Get a corner room if you can - very friendly staff and manager - great handling of covid-19, room was clean and seems to be well sanitized - good location We stayed here for just one night, and will highly recommend to family and friends visiting Sonoma and Napa. Its just a short ~25 mins drive to Sonoma plaza. The charming Petaluma historic downtown is within walking distance, 3-5 mins if you drive. There is a nice little gym, but its close now during covid-19. We will stay here again when we need a stopover in north CA. There is a pretty well stocked liquor store (with some harder to fine whiskey at a decent price) just one block from the inn.

Don't expect to get any sleep at this Industrial chic hotelThe most abysmal night's sleep I have ever had in a hotel. If you can get 3-4 hours, consider yourself lucky, and I'm not a light sleeper. It's a converted silk mill with some history, well done except for some fatal flaws that make it unusable. Half of the hotel rooms face Lakeville St, an incredibly busy street. While the walls are concrete and brick, their cheap, yet brand new, windows may as well be tissue paper. You might as well set up a tent next to a freeway ramp as that will be quieter. Dont expect any sleep between 4am and, well, the rest of the day until after midnight. I've stayed in many hotels with windows facing similar, or even a freeway, and never experienced this. Throw in the very tight limited parking lot, and be aware you're across the street from the main homeless shelter, you risk theft of anything visible as well as many unsavory characters in the immediate area. Oh, and the bathroom has nowhere to even put down your toiletries, and there's only one, tiny, hanging wardrobe so you can't even put your stuff away. Utterly awful and limiting room design. No in room coffee, no microwave, tiny refrigerator, so totally lacking in basics. Don't waste your money. Even if you can sleep, this place is not in a safe neighborhood. Well, unless you're deaf, have no car, and enjoy the drug/drink addict lifestyle of the lowlifes lurking outside. Worst Hilton brand location ever. This review written in the early hours while on location, while miserably forced to be awake after half a nights sleep, for, well, obvious reasons. The tragedy is all of this could be solved with soundproof windows, practical room design, and secure parking with visible security to keep the bums out. Sad
