  Judged by the moments when service is needed the most...

  I stayed in Muscatine, Ia for business. When my trip was done and I headed back home, I was 9 hours away and realized I had left my wallet in my room! What a rookie mistake! I immediately called the front desk and was greeted by Stacy. Within 30 mins, She had called back and confirmed that her and the housekeeping gal (I didn't get name) had secured my wallet and would keep it safe until I could have someone come and pick it up. What a relief! It was a custom made job given to me from my kids last Father's Day. That one present in a lifetime you really treasure (I kicked myself extra hard for forgetting it). As consumers, we don't judge customer service by the routine moments that pass by every day - we judge it by the moments when we are powerless and truly in need of another persons selfless service. Thank you 3rd Shift Stacy, Ms. Housekeeper, and 1st Shift Heather! You have restored a little bit of my faith in the integrity of humanity with your actions!

  Nice option in Muscatine

  Hotel is in a good location just off the highway but not close enough that noise will be an issue. Plenty of good places to eat nearby as well. Rooms show some signs of aging, but they smell so incredible and are kept very clean. Staff was friendly. Overall, no issues with this property at all. Would recommend it.

  Juanita saves the day

  My daughter and I stayed here in June one weekend for softball. We got home and my daughter couldnt find her softball jersey. I called and Juanita told me that housekeeping had found it, and then she had it shipped back to me since we live 2 hours away. Thanks again, Juanita! The hotel was fine, a little dated.

  Neglectful

  I spent 5 days at the Hampton Inn. Because of Covid, they are only cleaning rooms upon request (for those with multiple days). I only asked for housekeeping 1 day out of the 5. They neglected to do it. I took out my own garbage out. The housekeeping cart was right by my room (2 doors down), and it was there from about 10 in the morning when we left and was in the same spot at 3 (I think) when I returned to my room. I called down and the front desk told me that she would come down personally to clean my room. I refused because Housekeeping should have been doing their job. The staff (accept for one front desk person) is very neglectful.

  Its Okay

  I was here for two nights. The room was clean but outdated. Options for breakfast include yogurt and muffins. The coffee in the lobby is not good. The staff is friendly. Overall its an okay place to stay.
