  Christmas in the Delta

  We came to Indianola to have Christmas with my husbands family. This hotel is fairly new so like last year, I figured it would be nice. Well, it was not a pleasant stay. During our stay we couldnt tell employees from people who were hanging out visiting employees. The floors, walls, and tables were dirty. The elevators looked as if a stampede had been through there and never cleaned. And for some reason the breakfast area had been moved to a meeting room. They had fold out tables in there with the breakfast items on them. The eggs had water flowing in the bottom of the pan, the sausage links were gray, and the oatmeal looked disgusting. The fruit I decided to try was translucent and flimsy. We will go over to stay in Greenville next year if this hotel doesnt get new management. The room itself was okay. The bed, comfortable.

  Funeral

  We were able to check in early due to the funeral time of my loved one Carmen was instrumental in coordinating the arrangement Ezekiel quickly checked us in to a great room, was super clean and the bed was extra comfortable and after a long day of spending time with the family we slept great and will prepare for our road trip back to Atlanta great job Hampton inn family

  Not all that great

  The room was nothing special. No decorations on the wall and smaller than I'm used to at a Hampton Inn. The hotel is right on the Highway and it's not at all sound-proof in the room so road noise is a issue. The free breakfast was ok but all of the food was cold by the time we got there at 8:00 am. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was thin and runny - it ran all over my plate. Seems that they are not doing that great right now - I don't understand why because they are the newest and most expensive place in town, and there seemed to be lots of people staying there. Indianola is not a great place to spend the night and the places to stay are limited. We might have to try a hotel in another town the next time we go to Mississippi see our grandkids.

  Better off at a Motel 6!

  This was the worst Hilton stay I have ever experienced. The staff members at the front desk often acted frustrated if I approached with a question or request. It made me avoid the front desk which is probably what they wanted. It was hard to determine between staff and their friends who often just hung around. The housekeeper only changed the sheets if I asked...in my 20 nights, bed was changed twice! The breakfast was never consistent, presentation terrible and usually only one set of tongs or one spoon out to serve several items. Not good for food allergies. Coffee was rarely hot in the early morning (6:30-7:30). Food was always stale. Smoking is allowed in rooms or nothing is ever enforced as this was a common smell from my neighbor. Never any disinfectant wipes in fitness room. Disgusting! No water for days in fitness room as they never refill the water jug. I definitely was not recognized as a Hilton Honors member let alone a Diamond member. In the 20 nights I was here, no effort was made to upgrade me to a better room even though the hotel was far from full. I had a room with two queen beds with a tiny chair stuffed between the wall and a bed that would not accommodate most adults. I will NEVER come back to this hotel. I think I would be better off at a Econolodge or Motel 6!

  Stay

  We stayed at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The food at breakfast was great. The coffee was hot. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends again.
