  Falta de limpieza

  Llegamos a este hotel porque al que normalmente acudimos estaba lleno y este nos pareció que, siendo de una cadena reconocida, era una buena opción. Llegamos temprani, antes de la hora del check-in, y nos dijeron que la habitación no iba a estar disponible hasta las 4pm. Fuimos a pasear y cuando regresamos nos dieron las llaves para nuestro cuarto. Entramos y después de 5 minutos nos dimos cuenta que la habitación no había sido limpiada/aseada. El inodoro salpicado, el lavamanos con moho, los rincones llenos de polvo y cabellos, la alfombra sucia y las colchas/edredones manchadas. Pedimos que nos cambiaran de habitación y así lo hicieron, incluso nos dieron una mejor PERO, fue la misma historia; el baño sucio, la alfombra igual, en fin, ya ni quisimos volver a pedir que nos cambiaran porque íbamos a estar de una habitación a otra perdiendo tiempo. La única forma en que me volvería a hospedar en este hotel es, si no encuentro ningún otro decente en el área.

  Lovely Little Town and Hotel!

  This hotel is a wonderful location in relation to town. You can park one time and walk pretty much anywhere you need to go in town. Very close to the general store and several restaurants. Walking distance to the shops and the bridge over the river. You can also walk out the back of the hotel and see the river/where everyone tubes! The rooms are clean and the hotel has a great breakfast area. They also have juice and coffee available all day. There is covered parking and outdoor parking. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

  Right by the main places

  This Hotel besides the other options you have in Helen (mainly motels and inns) is a very good option, a little on the expensive side but I prefer to pay a little more ante get good service and a clean room. Service is very good, friendly and polite, they are now serving breakfast again (we are in the covid era) and rooms are plenty of space, actually It was an excellent room for my expectations (Hotels in the United states, specially budget hotels are not the best and tend to go more on the bad side), It had kitchenette, one bedroom, bathroom with Hydromassage and a living room that can work as another bedroom that has fireplace. Surprised and if this was an upgrade, thank you so much Hampton Inn and Thank you so much Expedia. In terms of location, here you have everything just one block away and this is better because when you need to rest everything is quiet. Parking, breakfast and internet is included, and the internet actually works. In terms of cleaning our room was done everyday, deep cleaning has to improve (yes I am one of those guest that lifts the cushions! But in this covid era this is a very important matter)but the room was relatively clean and smelled good. So a recommend this hotel as one of the best options in downtown Helen.

  Great place to stay!

  From arrival to departure the hotel and staff were amazing. Clean and friendly as well as a tasty breakfast! We hadn't traveled for awhile and I must say we were very pleasantly surprised on how amazing this stay was. And, a very short walk right to downtown Helen!

  Nice rooms, not enforcing Covid mask requirement

  This is a nice hotel, despite the older exterior appearance, the inside is updated and the rooms were large and clean. The staff was friendly. However, the overall Covid safety policies don't seem to be in place or not being enforced. There are plenty of hand sanitizing stations around the hotel which is good, but the hotel is not enforcing Hilton's mask policy requiring masks for employees or guests. 90% of the guests I observed were not wearing masks and most staff had their mask under their nose or hanging from an ear. They were serving the standard Hampton breakfast buffet which was surprising because of Covid policies and multiple guests using the same serving utensils. If enforcement of Covid safety protocols are important to you, it may not be wise to stay at the hotel until later in the year.
