  During Covid, I'd pass

  We were looking for a place to stay convenient to the HWY, which this certainly was..but I have to be honest, our room was not great. There was masking tape on the floor around baseboards (in the room) as painting was obviously in progress. Speaking of baseboards, it was also pretty evident the mop had left gunk build-up sticking to them over time..pretty nasty. Our carpet was also full of stains. This is not a cheap place to stay and for that kind of money, travelers should get a room that is reassuringly clean.. ESPECIALLY during Covid. Putting a special "seal" on the door doesn't inspire confidence if what's on the inside isn't spotless. Food choices are not plentiful in the area, but we did have a surprisingly delicious take put pizza from Marcos nearby.

  Disappointed

  I understand this Hampton Inn is 3 years old. It looks new with very modern interior design. One would think that good, but I found the cluster of frames in the lobby, hallways, and our bedroom not in good taste--different materials, shapes, colors, and patterns did not appeal to me. The business center was a desk in an open area just off the common room--not appealing to me. Furthermore, in the bedroom bathroom there is a motion sensor that turns on the light. May sound good, but getting up in the middle of the night, I do not want a bright light to turn on. There was a nite light, but no bathroom exhaust fan. None of that affects my disappointment. What does? The check-in and check-out staff were not warm, friendly, or welcoming. They frequented the back office and had to be called to the reception area. Unusual for Hampton Inn. We normally stay at Hampton Inns as well as on this road trip. They have run the gamut of how they handle breakfast, but in my opinion this one was unnecessarily using Covid-19 as an excuse. They provide Breakfast in a Box--bagel, hard-boiled eggs, small container of juice, very flimsy cutlery that could not slice the bagel. No plate to eat on. We were handed the box with a disgruntled attitude. No offer to assist, no commentary, just shove off. They were also out of dark roast coffee. Perhaps this sounds like some minor complaining, but this was the most expensive Hampton we have stayed in over the last 4 months covering perhaps 30 hotel nights. Additionally, the freeway noise was very loud and I don't ever remember complaining about road noise before, never mind in a new hotel. We will not stay here again, but if you decide to note that it is at Exit 186 off I-75. There are no Hampton Inn signs on the directional Hotel signs coming off the interstate.

  Great Service... Super clean rooms

  I can't say enough about Cory at the front desk. So incredibly helpful and one of the nicest people I've ever met. Hilton should be greatful to have such a wonderful employee representing their brand. Rooms could not have been cleaner and I felt at ease knowing everything had been sanitized as soon as I walked in the room. I will definitely stay here again if ever in the Forsyth area

  Horrible Experience stay at Holliday Inn Express across the street.

  We stay at Hilton Hotels all over the country and under Hilton Honors regularly. This is the worst experience we have every had. Lloyd the person working the night we tried to check in obviously has 0 customer service skills and did not care about booking a room or helping! It was after midnight so we could not book in the app to use Hilton points, he told us to look up the reservation service number ourselves because it was not something he was able to give out. A little set back I looked at my wife and said well obviously they dont want us to stay here and started to walk out. His response was hope you have a good night and good luck finding a place to stay. Guess what we did it was Holliday Inn Express right next door and not only did they welcome us but it was a great place to stay! Emailed customer service and they promised the hotel would contact us... 4 days later no response, emailed customer service again and they apologized for no response and that we would get one in 3 days... well its 10 days now and have heard nothing so do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! Maybe dump the Hilton card all together and get a Holliday Inn card for points!

  It's Basically Closed.

  Pulled up to this place and there were only about 6 cars in the lot. It looked deserted. I thought, "no problem getting a room here." Wrong. The front desk guy said they had no rooms available due to staffing problems. Seems like there are underlying issues with this hotel. Hilton should look into it. In the meantime, I would avoid this hotel.
