  Near the Western Maryland Rail Trail (WMRT)

  Very nice hotel. Our room was clean and bright. Decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel provided plenty of coffee in their Lobby. There was a bag your own breakfast, a nice effort considering the constraints of the Virus. We would stay here again. We rated 4+ Stars.

  Nice spotless Hampton Inn!

  We could tell the hotel was fairly new. It was spotless and new, The staff was friendly and helpful. It was situated on a hill above the highway and quiet. We chose a room on the 4th floor. There was a seal on the door and it was very clean. We chose an odd number room based on a request for a quiet room. We did not hear any noise for outside the building but you could hear noise in the hallway on two of the nights. It did not bother us but others it might. Scott was wonderful in the breakfast area. He was pleasant and very attentive to anybody's needs. The food and drink selection was good . They had bags if you wanted to take the food with you. They also had gloves available to use. Check in and check out was good too.

  Wow!

  I cannot say enough good things about this hotel From the cleanliness of the rooms and in all of the areas...to the fantastic customer service and friendliness of the staff...the location of the hotel being easy to get to... and just five stars all around!!!!You cannot go wrong with staying at this hotel Top notch hotel! We felt very safe with all of the Covid precautions. Definitely stay here! Special thanks to Dee (front desk manager) for all of her help over the last few months

  Great views, great staff, lovely facility

  One exit from downtown, close to the hospital and doctors' offices, and situated on a hill overlooking the majestic surroundings, this is a great overnight stop when in Cumberland. Be prepared for truck noises like air-braking so if you're a light sleeper ask for the rooms facing opposite the highway. The hotel feels new, is pristine, and the front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. Mattress was delightful, but pillows need to be replaced! Typical Hampton Inn amenities, but as with any hotels these COVID-19 days there are no in-room services. The free breakfast was cold (except DIY microwave reheating) and pre-packaged, and the food services person avoided any contact (quite disappointing not to have received at least a "good morning, how can I help you?") Going uphill in icy weather may be a problem for some. Despite negatives, we'd consider rebooking here when back in town.

  Wonderful hotel stay! We will be back!

  Like many other reviewers have said, the hotel was very clean and fresh. The rooms were modern and I loved the attention to detail with extra drawers and storage for things that I havent seen at other hotels before. The breakfast selection was okay since I know covid has made serving breakfast difficult. Some boxes of breakfast cereal and milk for the kids (and grown-ups) would have rounded out the selection nicely. We had a fantastic stay though and cant wait to visit again!
