  Allstar weekend

  This was a great place to stay. I live in chicago, but decided to stay in a hotel for all star weekend. This hotel was very convenient to all of my scheduled activities. It offered two great restaurants. One of which is a nightclub. It was a wonderful place to play and to rest. I will be back.

  Great Place and Great rate for all of our guests to stay for my daughter's wedding!

  The HGI at McCormick Place was selected by me as the Hotel near where my daughter was getting married. As a Lifetime Diamond Member I spoke with the sales department (Amanda and Rebecca) to reserve a block of rooms (20) for the weekend of the big day. Before the wedding, the block had filled up and more rooms were added with the negotiated rate. From handing out welcome bags to our guests, to accommodating all of our friends and family, the front desk staff went above and beyond! A special thanks to all of the following staff: Caroline Daisha Latisha Fatima Jamal Latonia NaeBon Khayla Joseph Lev Alec Nuschia Regina Laura (Front Desk Manager) Gabi (General Manager) Along with Lukas and Len in the VU who came in clutch when we needed a box to transport flowers.   Very convenient hotel

  Staff is very friendly, the Starbucks is right next door and the Fatpour restaurant next door is delicious. You can walk indoors all the way to the convention center and to other hotels nearby. Cleanliness was outstanding.

  Perfect Convention Hotel

  The hotel is Fairly new and the rooms are clean and modern. Lots of places to plug things in. It is connected to the convention hall by an enclosed heated overhead bridge. It takes less than five minutes to walk directly into the West Hall. There are now dining options in McCormick place area. IL Cuiaccino is a good Italian option less than a block away. Pizano Pizza is next-door to that. Excellent deep dish and thin crust options. Fat pour is next to hotel and serves up very good pub food. There are other options as well. If you dont want to spend 20 bucks at the hotel for breakfast there are options. The Subway Restaurant across the street is open for breakfast. My favorite was the McCormick market. A little bodega a block to the left of hotel. Its a General store that has beer, wine and liquor. Go to the back and theres a small grill. They serve a made to order oversize breakfast sandwiches They are served up on your choice of bagel; English muffin or croissant. They have good coffee too. The sandwiches will set you back only five bucks and they are huge. Go left out the door of hotel and walk to the light. Cross the street and its on your right. You can see this place from the hotel This hotel was perfect for my convention stay

  Jennifer is THE BEST!!!

  I was visiting Chicago last month for an important modeling agency interview and was feeling quite nervous. I tried to get a photo by the fire in your lobby to kill time, but couldnt seem to get a good one. Jennifer (I believe a manager there?) then walked by and saw me struggling. She asked if I wanted help and spent a while helping me perfect it, even giving me awesome tips on posing. She was AMAZINGLY helpful, kind and dedicated to making her guests happy! Super cheery and fun person - honestly she deserves a raise!! I will definitely stay there again when I come back to my agency, thanks to Jennifer! Staff makes a major difference in the quality of experience!! Cheers!
