  Seaside Delight

  We spent five nights in Gelibolu at the Hampton by Hilton. On arrival staff were very friendly and even remembered my husband from a previous visit. Our room was on level 3 and on a corner so we had a 180 view of the beach. This hotel is only a couple of years old so everything is clean and fresh. However the rooms are very small. It was difficult to have room for two cases and there was very little drawer space to locate things. The bed is also only a standard double, so it seemed a little cosy. The bathroom is also compact but does have a good shower. Shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser are supplied in bulk. Bottled water is also replenished each day. Breakfast was plentiful and with good Turkish variety including cereal, fruit juice, eggs, salad, meats, cheeses, breads and a waffle maker. Coffee is brewed as is the tea. The breakfast room overlooks the pool area. The pool itself is well maintained and towels are provided. It is a short walk up the hill to the city centre and there is a lovely walk back via the sea front. There are also a great variety of cafes and restaurants directly adjacent to the hotel. Meals are also available in the hotel bar. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

  Comfortable and pleasant stay

  Had a comfortable stay even though it was a short one, the bed and shower were excellent!! the room is nicely done with good decor.. you can chill at its lobbys bar with good view of the beach, definitely will stay again when we visit Canakkale. Sadly we didnt find any convenience stores nearby. Adios

  Very Good

  We travelled up from Akbuk to see the sights and stayed here. The reception staff were all very good and would do there upmost to assist you. The hotel had a great location and we were given a room 302 at the side of the building looking out over the Dardanelles. The noise at night was not great but was ok. The breakfast was hit and miss as were the staff. It wasnt to Hilton standards but was ok. The young lady working on the Thursday and Friday morning was brilliant and was a credit not only to Hampton but herself. The price of our stay was excellent. We are Gold members and although no upgrades or lounges available this was a very good place to stay whilst visiting The Gallipoli peninsula.

  Comfortable stay with friendly staff

  Great location by the beach with view of the Sea from the room. We got in late after a long drive from Troy and we're greeted by the smiling friendly staff. We had a room facing the beach which was of good size and very comfortable bed. Simple but good enough for just and overnighter. Good WiFi coverage through the hotel and has tea/coffee maker in the room. Setbacks we faced were though the TV has English channels they appear blank on screen. Next was the smelly towels which after a comforting bath with their aromatic body soap and shampoo the more one dries off with the musty smelling towel the stench(seems like they have not been dried thoroughly) leaves the body with a bad odor. Lastly was no pen, paper or envelopes in the room when one needs them. Even when asked the front desk says they do not have envelopes(weird for a hotel, not to mention Hilton). Another issue is the noise from the nearby disco at night can be quite disturbing. Breakfast spread was basic. Overall satisfying comfortable stay.

  Service not existing, worst ever! Nobody can speak just a little English. Hotel tried to kick me out before my reservation ended, because they had made a mistake, very bad experience with hotel management. Mikkel room 319
