  Great for a weekend stay

  We recently stayed here during a hockey tournament weekend. The hotel was very busy with hockey teams and cross-country ski teams. The breakfast area was well stocked even at its busiest times. If something did run low it was quickly replenished. Room was nicely appointed. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was clean. Only negative on the weekend was that they only had one elevator running. When asked why the front desk said the repair company couldn't come out on the weekend to fix it. Not ideal when you have a full capacity hotel. Doesn't detract from the rating though. Would stay here agin.

  Great Hotel, Excellent Staff

  Stayed here from May 22-24, 2020 Room 202. This is a great property! Nice and quiet. Stayed in a King Studio. Very spacious and comfortable. A counter, microwave, fridge just inside the door. A very comfy couch beyond that in the main room. A large table with TV divides the room with a king bed at the far end. Counter and sink with a mirror in between a large closet and a bathroom with toilet and shower. Good water pressure on the shower although it feels a little cramped on the toilet with the door closed. The bed and pillows were comfortable with excellent lighting and bedside tables on either side. Free WiFi was excellent. Due to Covid-19, the restaurant was closed but they provided a bag breakfast for pick up. Contained an apple, banana, fruit bar and water. Decent effort due to the times. Hot water flask for tea was provided at all hours. The staff cleaned constantly, wiping down the trolleys after use and a fresh flask every time. The main attraction of this location was the staff! We were greeted at night and during the day by superb front desk ladies. They couldn't do enough for us! Made us feel right at home and totally at ease with staying there. This is a highly recommended property in Timmins with staff that make it a must stay!

  Nice hotel in a small town

  Hotel is pretty standard and nice,seal sign on key knob and tv remote shows COVID precautions,breakfast is COVID style snack bar style. Theres a beautiful river right across the road and a Boston pizza besides it.

  Another Exceptional Hotel This Past Week

  Stayed here one night last week. Staff upgraded our room without being asked. It was a large executive room with modern furniture, large TV, king bed that neither squeaked nor disturbed my wife when I moved or got up. The room was immaculate and super clean. The bathroom was large and roomy and the hotel itself was very quiet. Breakfast was a hot meal ordered from a server in the breakfast area and was placed in a plastic tray for you to take to your room. Covid smart service and an appreciated hot meal, rather than the grab bags being served by some hotel chains. Staff were exceptional and it was a pleasure to have stayed here. We would return in a heartbeat.

  Another great business trip

  Travelling during the pandemic can be nerve racking. The entire staff at this hotel will set your mind at ease. From cleaning and sealing the rooms until you enter to the wrap on the remote and serving you the buffet breakfast, safety is paramount. On top of the safety precautions, the staff go above and beyond to help with every need. The breakfast ladies are so friendly and helpful offering all kind of suggestions. The front desk staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. If you have to be away from home, this is the place to stay in Timmins.
