Difficult to find hotel & beds uncomfortableThis hotel needs a BIG sign on the sidewalk before their driveway!!! Traffic is heavy where the hotel entrance is and with little signage, its hard to get over soon enough and enter their driveway. Then you have to make a U-turn somewhere and try it again. GPS showed the hotel was on the opposite of the street. Try to look for the Pizza Hut & youll know the hotel is directly ACROSS the street from the Pizza Hut. Our hotel room was clean. The bed is very uncomfortable, toss and turned a lot during the night and woke up very sore. Because of COVID-19, understandably they are not serving the buffet breakfasts. It would have been nice though if they had sack to go breakfasts like a lot of hotels are doing. If they had better beds wed stay here again.

Great stay!We had two adjoining rooms and both were very clean which is important to us right now as we are in the middle of COVID. It wasnt crowded and staff had masks on. They are currently not serving breakfast due to COVID and social distancing. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pleasant Stay in AustinThis is a very nice hotel that sits up on a hill off of highway 290 but can be hard to see. If you use William Cannon and McCarty Lane you will have no issues. At check in we were warmly greeted and given some important updated information due to COVID. The property is well maintained both inside and out, very clean and comfortable. Our room on the third floor was quite and we enjoyed the views. An outdoor pool is located on the back side of the building. There is plenty of parking and it is well lit in the evening. Highly recommend!

COVID Concern alert: Unpleasant stay due to guests who went on elevators hung in lobby w/out Masks;& water pressure =0Checkin: Clerk was nice; got room key went to room; room was spacious w/ cheap ugly furniture - desk wobbled; sofa quite uncomfortable and seemed really old and worn. Problems came next day when I went down stairs and waited for my pick up. No one was in lobby so I walked over to TV remote to change the channel, moments later a man walked up and sat down where there was a newspaper (he probably had been sitting there before I got there). He had no mask on and was 2 feet from me. I stepped back and asked him if he would please put on a mask. He was unpleasant but went to front desk and they gave him one. On my way out I told the clerk that I had booked at that hotel b/c of the hotel's policy re: masks and was upset that this guy had apparently been sitting reading the paper w/out a mask. Would he in the future please remind guests to wear masks. HE said "No. I'm not going to get in a fight with a guest about a mask." I told him I didn't see why he had to get in a fight about masks, just ask people to wear them in order to carry out the hotel's stated policy. He said he would not do that. I called Hilton's customer service, who said they'd do something. I don't know what they did b/c for the rest of my 5 night stay, there were constantly guests walking through lobby, in and out of hotel, w/out masks and only one clerk ever said anything to anyone. I felt uncomfortable using the elevators b/c so many guests were on them w/out masks, leaving their germs on the elevator surfaces. I may sound like a nut and may even be a nut but the hotel advertises itself as one that requires masks and yet did nothing to enforce that rule. Elsewhere in Austin I was in stores, gas stations, where people universally wore masks b/c they knew they were not allowed not to remove them. Here, the message was: where one if you want, which was not the advertised and promised message from the hotel when I booked there. What particularly irritated me was that after I spoke with several of the desk clerks about my concern and twice called Hilton's customer service to register my complaint, someone posted Daylight Savings flyers all over the place and put them under the room doors. Why could they not have done the same with flyers reminding people to wear masks??? In other matters, after two or three days, suddenly the water pressure in my room stopped to a very slow drip. I called the desk and asked if the hotel was experiencing a general problem and was told it was and that it would be fixed. I ignored it. When I returned later that night nothing had changed. I called down to the desk and was told that there were calcium deposits in the pipes that had caused the poor water pressure and that the maintenance man would have to come to my room to repair it. That seemed unlikely but the next day I okayed it and it was fixed. But it took over a day for me to get any water pressure again b/c I was told it was being taken care of automatically the first time I called it in but that was not the case. Additionally, the room was incredibly noisy. There are huge gaps around the door both on the side and the bottom and I had a connecting room with very loud people next door. Final complaint: b/c of COVID they put out bag breakfasts every day. I get that - but they could have done a bit better than water, a muffin and a breakfast bar and tghe least appealing orange I have ever seen: hard as a rock and only slightly larger than a ping pong ball. The coffee service that they put out only had light brew most mornings b/c they ran out of dark brew all except two mornings. That said, the maid service were pleasant and seemed to do a good job and the desk clerks, other than the one really rude guy, were nice enough, if ineffective with the exception of the one the day I checked out.

Nice visit during CovidHotel appeared clean with lots of protocols in place for safety. What I missed: no bathtub just a shower. No USB outlets for charging. No lids for coffee to be made in the room. Bar soap in the bathroom. Breakfast is in a bag for Covid??? No liquid creamer available except on request Staff was courteous. Hotel quiet while we were there.
