  Nice hotel, but needs better maintenance

  We stayed here a few weeks ago, and we did not find out until we GOT there that the elevator was broken. We were told it would be fixed ( probably) the next day ( a Monday) , but it wasn't. Normally, this would not be a huge deal, but we were staying a few days, and had a LOT of stuff to haul up stairs, wearing masks, and avoiding people. Would it have been SO hard to call us and let us know, so we could make other arrangements? VERY disappointing. We'll reevaluate where we stay from now on.

  Great stay!

  Newer hotel. Called about cleaning procedure with the Covid around. Great policy. Closer to wineries than Geneva on the Lake. (Went over there for a quick walk by Lake Erie the 2nd day). Madison,OH is a very well up kept older town with a great restaurant with microbrews.

  Lucky to have found them

  Was booked at a nearby hotel. Left due to extremely poor cleanliness. Took a chance on stopping at Hampton at 10:30 at night. Inquired on a room. Luckily they had an available room for one night. Since my traveling party was in town for two nights, I asked if a second night was available. Unfortunately, hotel was booked up. Come morning, I checked again and a king room was available. Booked it ASAP. Asked to be put on list if a double queen became available as this is the room type I originally needed. Received a call about 2 hours later advising they had an early check out due to a charter boat fishing trip being cancelled. I felt sorry for that party, but super excited we were able to obtain the room we needed. Hampton Inn staff was fantastic to work with. Did not obtain names of front desk staff but kudos and many thanks to the workers the night and days of July 30-31, 2020. This hotel also did a wonderful job with COVID 19 sanitizing, social distancing, cleanliness of entire hotel, etc. GREAT JOB HAMPTON.

  Very clean, not too far from beach

  We stayed here for a weekend and despite COVID we felt very safe! Everything was very clean and looked brand new! Only a quick 20 minute drive from the beach and the Strip. No issues at all with our stay, would go back!

  Good value, clean, and quiet

  My wife and I stopped here on our way to Albany and this was a great stopover along the way. We got a great room for a reasonable price. The room itself was clean and comfortable. They do cleanliness right at this hotel. The floors are clean enough to eat off of. The hotel is easily accessible from I-90 at Exit 223. We would definitely stay here again
