  Should have "Sarkled" More

  My wife and I stayed here for a one night stay on our drive North for Vacation. The room was clean and quiet. The Hampton Seemed to be complying with all Covid-19 requirements. The only issues were two. The staff seemed a little dull as though they were not happy being there. The other thing was breakfast. We understood that the great Hampton breakfast was not possible. The breakfast that was offered was pretty basic. Coffee, Juice and a few pastries. We stayed at other places on this trip that offered a wide selection of Yogurts, cereals, and milk. I just think The Hampton could have put in a little more effort.

  Decent hotel breakfast was a disappointment

  Our rooms were okay. Our heating cooling unit was broken and it was a cool 61 degrees the 6 nights we stayed. That was almost unbearable. The reviews we read stated that had a hot breakfast but they did not. It was cereals and sweets. My husbands is diabetic and so the only option would have been rubbery pre packaged eggs. I get that Covid has changed things but that was disappointing.

  Great as usual

  Kim and Jess welcomed us and checked us in quick. Everything wrapped... super sanitary. Coffee plentiful with all fixins. Room comfy and quiet with nice desk. We stay in many hotels every and have over time developed strong preference for hampton inns. Once again very happy with our stay.

  Very clean

  The room was very clean and spacious! Ironing board and iron in the room. Didnt have to go ask for it. Refrigerator and microwave. Desk and chair was very convenient. Didnt use the pool. All in all a great visit!

  5 stars plus

  I have to come to Ann Arbor every 4 months. Each time we go looking for the best place to eat and stay. Yes tjere is an Applebee's right on property BUT for a real treat across the street and a little south is a place call Banditos do not miss it. The hotel. Since we just come for a night we are not expecting much nor do we need much rather just a place to sleep. The room was clean and was recently updated, has a microwave, coffee make, refrigerator. The bath was fully stocked with everything needed. Breakfast was a game changer. Due to Covid I have seen other places cut way back and just offer like a bag with some simple foods. Not here, there was cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, 4 different types of muffins, bars, 3 types of foods to heat up, fruit etc. Plus the food was good not just something to take away hunger pains. Staff understood the meaning of being friendly. Taylor specifically needs to be mentioned as she was driven to make sure our stay was wonderful. We were in room 416 literally across from the elevator and it was not a problem at all. I no longer need to search for where to stay next time and you do not need to search either.
