  Adoro este lugar

  Es la segunda vez que me alojo en este lugar, en una extraña mezcla de trabajo con placer. Este vez tenía que llevar a mi señora a conocer este bellísimo lugar. La piezas no son espectaculares, pero el entorno si lo es. Es una mezcla de parque con bosque, donde se pueden hacer una hermosas caminatas por bosques de hayas, con riachuelos y vacas pastando. El hotel mismo es acogedor aunque un poco antiguo, las piezas están ok, quizás un poco incomodas por las alturas, pero para un buen descanso está perfecto. El desayuno es de primera calidad y se puede tomar en las terrazas con vista al parque. No dejar de visitar el sector especialmente diseñado para ceremonias, con un jardín privado maravilloso. Otro punto a favor es la buena atención de todo el equipo, felicitaciones. Espero volver.

  Beautiful place to be right now

  As a respite from the pandemic, here is a lovely hotel with a great restaurant where you can walk for hours every day in the woods and fields (or the National parks) and feel a peace. We stayed in the couch house with our dog and it was an easy place to take the dog walking right from the room as well. The food is fantastic and we tried both the 3 and 5 course meals. The 5 course meal is served in the more exclusive part of the dining room and takes more time. The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and paired the wines per course better than most places (we are very demanding in that respect). Well definitely come back later in the winter.

  Excellent restaurant, pretentious hotel

  We stayed here for two nights. Covid rules are clearly laid out and adhered to. Forthcoming staff. Without dinner, I would not stay here again. There is no lobby. The room (comfort room) was a strange mix of styles with not much comfort, f.i. the room is dark and the sofa is underneath the sloping ceiling, the walk-in shower is like a stream-out shower and the air extraction in the toilet did not function. Further, from a hygienic point of view, we do not like fitted carpets in the room. The corridors contain an eclectic exhibition of knick-knacks without any explanation. At this price one would have assumed something better. Fortunately, the restaurant is making up for the hotel. The surprise menu's and amuses were lovely, tasty and well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our two dinners.

  High prices did not meet the expectations

  4-night stay with two dinners Nice building in a gorgeous park. We had booked a Superior room in the main building and got an upgrad upon arrival. Large corner room on the second floor with 2 large windows with small balconies on two sides with a lovely view on the park. Large room with a quirky decoration. The room was not clean : long dark hair on the red armchair, stained carpet. Two velvet upholstered nightstands (!?!) with stains and dust. Very large dusty plush toy on the wardrobe (!?!). Very small wardrobe where we could not hang all our clothes. The room is spacious thus plenty of space for a larger closet. It was very hot during our stay, also at night. There was no air-conditioning and the two small fans did not help to cool down the room ... and stirred the dust. The style less and outdated bathroom needs urgent renovation! Mold on the shower tiles. There was hair in the shower and a used cotton swab on the floor when we checked in the room. Persistent mold smell in the room and in the bathroom even with wide open windows. Breakfast buffet : very little choice and no variation. Slow refill, empty trays or with little left over. We had dinner twice at La Belle Source restaurant. It was excellent and very professional. Nice décor and ambiance. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and friendly manager/owner. Very expensive room (5 star hotel) for what you get.

  A holiday in our own country

  We were planning a nice night out in lock down time and found a great place to stay where we had a lovely 12 K walk one day and a 50K river cycle ride the next. The hotel is very careful with the Covid rules. The food was delicious, the room a treat. We will definitely consider visiting again. Staff was really pleasant.
