  Excellent country accommodation in Tasmania

  Beautiful location, comfortable accommodation and friendly atmosphere. Our host, Jenifa, was cheerful and chatty. Her service of home-made dinner was superb. It was really convenient to have dinner served as restaurants are far away. It was nice to have a living and a bed room ! The location was simply stunning with views of mountains and green landscape. It is a short drive from the Mt Field National Park and Russell falls. A great choice for countryside accommodation.

  Excellent B&B convenient for Mount Field NP

  Lovely cottage accommodation in large grounds where we saw a duck-billed platypus. We chose to have dinner and breakfast, which are served in the room, and both were excellent. Good wines available to buy or BYO.

  Beautiful Bed and Breakfast

  This is a picturesque, secluded property with a beautiful flower garden surrounding the house. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great view. Jenifa is a helpful and engaging host as well as an excellent cook. We stayed for two nights and ate both breakfast and dinner here each day. All our meals were first-rate.

  Hamlet Downs Country Accommodation - Outstanding

  My wife and I traveled through Victoria and Tasmania for 5 weeks, staying at 18 different accommodations. Hamlet Downs was by far one of the best. Our room was outstanding, the grounds are beautiful and Jenifer was an amazing host. The meal she cooked for us was fantastic... I cannot say enough just how much we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

  Excellent location and Ambience

  In an effort to support Tasmanian businesses I had an excellent 2 night stay at this charming property which is well set up and offers absolutely delicious meals. As it is in a rural setting, the meals availability is well worth taking up as the chef is excellent. Being a rural property one has all the home comforts required but additionally an opportunity to walk around the dams on the property and if lucky see a platypus - I wasn't lucky but had a great walk and can well see where a platypus may happily live. Comfortable and clean, friendly host and great meals, what more could anyone want?
