  #17 is very run down

  The location is great, the view is undoubtedly fantastic, but that's about all, when you pay a premium to stay in a place like this, you expect some quality living. We stayed in villa 17, the quality of the beds is very bed, outside seating chair is broken, all have seen its best times.

  Luxury Family Holiday

  Hamilton Island review Yacht Club Villa Accommodation for 7 nights was fantastic, included everything you would need for a beach holiday. The villa had an amazing lookout and external deck for dinners on the balcony. The rooms were clean, spacious and air conditioned, all including their own bathroom. Our Villa had 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, so ample for 8 adults. Appliances were of high quality and included a Weber BBQ. The kettle was leaking, however, as soon as we let housekeeping know, they replaced it with a brand new one within 30 minutes. Fantastic service! Room came with 4 keys and 2 golf buggies, ample to get around the island and do your own thing. WIFI was included and worked 99% of the time, Foxtel was also included. Infinity private pool was fantastic, we were usually the only ones in the pool. Priceless views of the ocean and Dent Island. Only annoying thing: (If I had to nit-pick) The shower head is very small and the water temperature fluctuates from hot to cold the entire time you are in the shower. Overall, fantastic accommodation and we will definitely be staying there again on our next trip! Beach Hut- Beach Sports We hired kayaks and stand up paddleboards whilst there, equipment in great condition and easy to use. Hire of these items was included in our accommodation, just needed to show the room key to the desk you hire from. Was told where to paddle/kayak in the water and the best locations for snorkeling. Life jackets readily available to use. We also snorkeled, best time to do this is low tide, as you can walk out approx. 150m and the water is very shallow. Easy to see lots of fish and turtles. Hamilton Island Golf Club We pre-booked our golf club lunch, which included pick up from the Marina and transport to Dent Island. On arrival, we were offered drinks and a cold towel to cool down. We were directed to a convoy of golf buggies lead by a tour guide, who guided us around the golf course. Lunch was amazing, drinks were fantastic and could not fault the staff. By far the best meal we had on the Island. Island Bowling Interesting spin on normal bowling, smaller ball and lanes, all you could play for 60 minutes. WILD LIFE Bit of a let down, only had a small amount of animals (understandable being on an island). Prices to hold a Koala and pat a dingo were excessive. Breakfast watching a Koala was also over-priced. Mini Golf 18 hole course, was fun as we went on an afternoon after it had rained. Course provided some extra obstacles navigating the puddles. Would recommend. Jet Ski Tour Fantastic experience with high speed fun! Would recommend for thrill seekers. Our session was 8.45am and perfect as the sun was not too strong. Must take sunglasses! We didnt take ours thinking they would fall off, ended up buying their plastic pairs as you cant see in the water with all the sea salt spray from the other skis! Well worth the $$$ Off Road Adventure Tours Great experience with high speed fun! Tour guides were fun and engaging, made the trip so much more enjoyable. They have a lot of island knowledge and took lots of photos on our own phones. Stopped at some beautiful locations E.g. Catseye Beach for group and individual photos. Special shout out to the tour guides Jay and Matthew, keep up the fantastic work! Walking Trails Clear and easy to navigate, lovely locations and lots of photo opportunities. Shops: IGA Mini supermarket with everything you could need on an Island Bottle shop good selection of alcoholic beverages Bobs Bakery Great coffee, had one every day we were there. Had sausage rolls, many pie varieties and vegetarian options. Lots of pastries and sweets, as well as ready-made wraps and sandwiches. I Pre-ordered a cake from here for a birthday, pick up was easy and it tasted great. Very popular on the island, queue was often out the door to order. Popeyes fish and chips great fish and chips Coca Chu Nice Thai restaurant with beach views, food was served quickly. Different dish offerings in comparison to a normal Thai restaurant, all food was nice and reasonably priced. Pizzeria and Gelato Bar Pizza was great, ordered and ready within 15mins. Reasonably priced and the ice cream bar was used by us every day, perfect when each day was 30 degrees. They had a variety of yummy flavours which changed daily. Manta Ray Average food, average service, over-priced for what it was, limited menu. Romanos Restaurant Food was nice, view of the Marina as a backdrop. Service was good and quick. Not a cheap meal. Island Bar Swim up bar, open between 11-5pm. Reasonable selection, quick service and great not having to get out of the pool. Good vibes with the tunes playing. Bring your EFPOS card as they dont charge to your accommodation. Overall, wonderful holiday destination and cannot recommend highly enough. Great for families with young kids.

  Perfect villa in idilic setting

  Ideal accommodation for family or friends with all the facilities you could ask for in the villa and on Hamilton island. Without question most beautiful part of Australia. Unlike other rental properties these villas are in great condition and clearly well looked after

  Christmas in paradise

  Omg!!! We stayed in villa 16 for Christmas and it was AMAZING!! I was a bit dubious about not spending Christmas in England with my extended family but that soon passed when I got to Hamilton island! The villa came with two golf buggies to get around and with 4 en-suite bedrooms each of our 3 teens had their own space. It is probably one of the best villas we have ever stayed in! Simply gorgeous! Definitely recommend.

  Luxurious and relaxing

  We spent 7 nights in one of the Villas with 3 generations aging from 70yrs to 5yrs. There was plenty of room to spread out. We loved the fact 2 buggies were included to zip around the island. We had direct access to the private pool, enjoyed cooking in the large galley style kitchen & there was a BBQ on the balcony. Highly recommend for families and groups of friends.
