Beautifully decoratedWe had the romance suite. It has a king bed, dresser, fireplace, small bathroom, couch, desk & chair, sink & closet. There are 4 rooms in this Bed & Breakfast all on the 2nd floor with no elevator. This B&B is in downtown Glasgow. It was very quiet where we took a walk every evening & felt very safe. The town people are very friendly as are the owners of the B&B. We were served breakfast every morning of uieggs, waffles or pancakes freshly made with a meat & fruit. The tea & coffee pot is always on. The downstairs has a tea room & has a large variety of beautiful tea pots & cups. We will stay there again as we intend to go back to this area often. There is a billiard table & lots of table games available to use.

Bad placeThe room was dusty not just a little. But dusty from not being cleaned in a long time. It also smelled musty. I went into the room and turned and left. This was our 45 wedding Anniversary and was looking for to our stay. Also no one was there. I had to call and they told me they left a key by the door, let yourself in. I know the fee was non-refundable but I will not stay in dirt.

Tea TimeReserved a tea for friends. We had the soup, tea, fruit, tea cakes and scones. Owners gave a history of the house and let us visit the open B&B Rooms. Very nice. Wish there was more tea cakes, did not care of Cumumber & Bread Sandwich. The soup and scones were very good, A lot of history.

New Owner, Great TeaWe had an excellent Noon Tea at Hall Place B&B. Tomato bisque soup, three different types of finger sandwiches, scones with whip cream and jelly and a pot of tea. We called to make the reservation and they worked with us on the different types of soups. The B&B is under new ownership. It is clean and well arranged.

Great Place to Stay, History, Tea and FunWe just stayed at Hall Place Bed and Breakfast, 3 nights, 2 days. There is a trip alert for this bed-and-breakfast that says whites only. I was concerned at first but then realized it was from seven years ago and this property has changed ownership ship since then. This house was built in 1852. It was a Union army headquarters for a while. The current owner is working on getting more information about its history. This was our first trip since we had our son in March. Owner Sharla Emmers was very personable and made sure to match us with the room that had many things in it that made our stay with the baby much easier. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings. We were concerned that the baby crying early in the morning would disturb other guests but the walls are very thick and no one heard anything in the next room over. The sheets are super soft and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious consisting of fruit (the fresh pineapple was amazing!!), bacon, eggs, and depending on the day pancakes, French toast or waffles. I love the library with the bookcase ladder. Our room was right beside the billiards parlor. I spent a lovely afternoon there reading with the baby napping beside me. The square is only about two blocks away. With coffee shops, and variety of antique stores and boutiques. Everyone was very friendly in the town. Also within walking distance is the Kentucky cultural center. (Unfortunately it was closed when we were visiting.) The bed-and-breakfast also has a Tea Room there, called Theodosias Tea Room. Tea was a pot of tea, choice of fresh fruit or soup, 3 types of tea sandwiches, and scones. The beef vegetable soup was amazing. It was super hearty and flavorful. The scones were the best Ive ever tasted. They are made right then and melt in your mouth. Sharla plans to reopen Smokin Eats at Hall Place July 1st. We hope on our next trip down we can try it out.
