lovely characterful house in central HexhamA pretty house and so full of character ! Well appointed rooms - plenty of space and in a nice quiet cul-de-sac. Everything you might need is on the doorstep : restaurants, pubs, shops and sightseeing. I would say a good place to stay

Very surprisedBooked this Guest house in advance, very surprised on the day of arrival, after 4 pm, to receive a text from the owner to advise me of a key pad number to get into the property as she was on holiday in Alicante !! Further advised me that for breakfast there was food in the main kitchen fridge and just to help myself. I wasn't happy.

This is not a B and BStayed here with friends for weekend, and was booked well in advance only to find out two days before that breakfast would not be provided! Yet it is advertised as a B and B. Do trading standards know this? Is this not false advertising? And yet we were still charged the full amount. Owner was not pleasant in the slightest and couldnt really care less to be honest.

GREAT LOCATIONThe room I stayed in was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The guest hoouse was in a prime location and very close to the town centre and Abbey. Margaret the owner, was a brilliant lady, so pleasant and friendly, and would help in every way possible to make your stay enjoyable. There was a really good selection of food at breakfast time and Margaret would then make a piping hot breakfast to order. I will most certainly be staying there again on my next trip up to Hexham.

LOVELYLocation is perfect, very close to town center & the Abbey, and yet, tucked away on a quiet street. Margaret was so accommodating! We felt like we were at a favorite aunt's home. She even arranged for a cab for us, on two different occasions. And breakfast? wow! Five kinds of fresh fruit, three dried fruits, three kinds of granola, a selection of lunch meats and cheeses, boiled eggs, juice, milk, yogurt and parfaits. Then, Margaret comes through and asks what we'd like for breakfast... bacon, eggs, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms. Coffee, glorious French press coffee, and tea.
