  Fabulous park & location

  We were very impressed with Halifax holiday park and will definitely stay again. The park is in a fantastic location , we found we could walk to many places including Shoal bay and the Nelson bay marina . Many cafes or places to eat or have a coffee . The park itself is very well kept and the ammenities were outstanding and always clean . We will definitely be staying here again.

  Noisy and philosophy of management is a bit off

  Booked 3 nights at Halifax but stayed only one. We have stayed before and enjoyed the experience. However, this time, we could only be placed on an overnight site outside the boom gates. It was very noisy during the night. Additionally, our dog got quite sick on that first night and we needed to cancel the other two nights and leave early to see a vet. I thought based on what I could make of the cancellation policy, it being an "overnight only" site, and that we'd had an awful time of things, we would receive at least one nights refund or a credit. We'd have made another booking by now had that been the case but there was no willingness/generosity shown. I will stay again based on previous experience but, definitely not on an overnight site and not with as much confidence that the experience will be a good one.

  Best Amenities

  Booked a powered slab site and found the park perfect in every way. Clean, Tidy, great staff, great site and amazing amenities. Great location and peaceful surrounds. Couldn't recommend the park enough 5star

  Great park

  Halifax Caravan Park is in a great location. An easy walk to Nelson Bay or Shoal and right on the doorstep of Little Beach. Amenities are clean and presented well. Staff are courteous and helpful. My wife and I are repeat visitors.

  Good Position and Pet Friendly

  This caravan park is situated between two beaches. The park amenities are excellent and the grounds well kept. Dolphins regularly swim at the Bay Beach and we were fortunate enough to have one join us for an afternoon swim. They swam with us for at least half an hour a wonderful experience.
