  Tesoro en Cherry Creek

  Estuve una noche el mes pasado y volveré! El hotel es divino, bien ubicado, desde el café y muffins de cortesía a la mañana hasta el vino en el lobby, todo es perfecto. Pero lo mejor que tiene es el buen clima, su personal es impecable, educados, simpáticos, serviciales, un placer!

  Felt Right at Home at Halcyon

  I cannot say enough about how amazing our stay at Halcyon was this past weekend. My wife and I got married last Friday and decided to spend our wedding day/night at Halcyon. From the minute we arrived Friday afternoon, the staff welcomed us with open arms, and made us feel like we were VIP guests. We brought our two dogs and before our luggage was even delivered to our room, two dog beds were dropped off by concierge. The vibe of the hotel was exactly what we were looking for too. It has a very intimate, boutique-y feel to it. Every time we left the room, and enjoyed the common facilities, someone from the staff would congratulate us. We had breakfast at the restaurant and were treated with complimentary Champaign. We live in Denver, about 5 minutes from the hotel. But the staff made us truly feel like vacation guests and we didn't want to leave. Thank you everyone at Halcyon for making our stay so incredible, we cannot wait to visit again!

  Perfect Staycation

  I am sure at one time this hotel was incredible and for some who dont travel a lot, they may consider it top notch. Its definitely run down and service is decent but nothing to rave about. Granted, we were there on a weekend and it seems these days people want to just get out and experience something new for a day or two but for the price, once shouldnt feel as if they are on Spring Break. The check in wine was not a thing for us, though many write about it, and the coffee and pastries while a nice idea were completely underwhelming. And while I believe these services are simply to add a nice touch, dont do it if you cant do it well. The room with a balcony was uninspiring - overlooking and listening to an air conditioning unit and only separated from neighbors by a small railing - had we been able to deal with the air conditioning ambience, and our neighbors as well, it would not have been a private experience. Definitely a waste of money. No information at check in or in the room about dining - we figured that out on our own. Room wasnt clean - we had to clean the bedside tables to remove rings from coffee cups so who knows what else wasnt touched before our arrival. Mattress is comfortable but worn - dips in the middle. Again, a great concept but not for the sophisticated traveler.

  Everyone who works at this hotel is so nice and accommodating. One of my favorite things is in the morning they make lattes and coffee and have a pastries and its free! The room is super clean and theres so much to do in the Cherry Creek section.of Denver. I would highly recommend!
