  Really lovely hotel & restaurant!

  This hotel was really nice. Very clean rooms, yummy food in their restaurant, & good beer in their Biergarten! A decent breakfast is included as well. There was some confusion as to who was in charge of the hotel/restaurant but everyone was willing to help so it wasn't a problem!

  Great overnight stop

  We had one night stay here, it exceeded our expectations. Close to Autobahn, good parking, lovely large rooms (suite 10), helpful staff. Great atmosphere, not your run of the mill chain. And breakfast was fabulous. Will certainly stay again.

  Good business hotel

  Stayed here for one night for a business conference. We ate in the restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I had the rump streak with peppercorn sauce which was very tasty. My room was in the annex which is next door to the hotel. My room was on the first floor. There looked to be at least two other floors. No lift so glad I wasn't on the top floor. The room was a good size but looked pretty Spartan. Double bed, desk, one chair. Flat screen TV. Very modern decor with a well appointed bathroom with shower. I was shown to my room by reception. This took us outside the hotel. Fine that warm evening. Not so good in the morning when it was raining hard. Our conference room excellent.

  Central location, with ample free parking and a brewhouse

  We were only at the Halber Mond in Heppenheim for 1 night, but it ticked so many boxes for us. It was only around a ten minute walk into the heart of the old town, which made it ideal to discover the historic centre. The staff at check in were really friendly and helpful and there was plenty of free parking on site. The bedroom was really bright, it was clean and also quite large. It didn't have air conditioning. The WIFI was pretty good. We highly recommend relaxing in their beer garden and sampling the beers from the onsite brewery. Oh, and if you get a chance their spareribs were amazing. A buffet breakfast was included in our booking rate and had a fairly wide range of food.

  Great Stay

  Stayed a weekend in January 2020. I really liked this hotel. Having stayed in ALOT of hotels this one and the package we had was Superb! Great Points - Big Room, much bigger than most - Super Quite - All the Staff were polite, competent and answered any and all questions in a friendly manner. - Location is perfect to get to old town but convenient to easily get to - breakfast was very good. Fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, large assortment of cheese, bean-to-cup coffee, many cold cut meats, breads, yogurt. Almost perfect. - wifi stong and consistent - room modern and nice/ clean. - free parking - superb restaurant - superb beer Points for the hotel to review - maybe a kettle in the room for coffee and tea - bedding was traditional German--sheet, comforter but spartan. To kick it up to the next level they should add a flat sheet and down comforters. - add sekt to your breakfast since you have your own brand. Cost would be minimal, result would be priceless. All in all, loved the place! Will be back and can safely say Halber Mond and Heppenheim are a best kept secret.
