  Absolutely excellent

  I stayed here during a roadtrip through the Black Forest with a friend. We booked on the way there and were very pleasantly surprised. Super service with a smile, reasonably priced and excellent restaurant. We had a great dinner of freshly sourced local trout prepared in traditional German style which was without fault. Continental breakfast the next morning was also excellent. Rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

  Excellent 5 course dinners

  We booked an, all inclusive, walking holliday for one week wich we extended with one extra day. We enjoied it very much, especially the dinners after a long day walking in the beautifull surrounding area. The room had a quite large bath room with an excelent large shower cabin. The staf is very devoted to giving the guests a good time.

  Crisp and Clean

  Walking to Flair Hotel Adlerbad from the West Way requires a substantial descent down into Bad Griesbach valley. The owner offered us sparkling apple juice upon arrival, perfect after a hot afternoon of walking. Our bedroom on the top floor of the annex building had wonderful views of the valley and a spacious balcony with comfortable chairs for enjoying them. The room was modern, clean, and somehow crisp too. Traffic noise from the main road roared into our otherwise silent room at night. The food selection at breakfast was excellent but the grumpy servers neglected us in favor of a larger party. Overall this hotel was excellent value and well worth the detour.

  Nice location, professional service

  We stayed at this hotel while attending a wedding at a nearby resort. Prices were very reasonable for the accommodation and meals. Breakfast is lovely with hardboiled eggs, fresh fruit, meat/cheese, yoghurt, and many breads. Dinner is a very proper affair by US standards - 4 courses each night -only w choice of entree and either a sweet dessert or cheese option. They did an excellent job remembering my allergy and letting a sober friend know if a dish was prepared in alcohol. You are assigned a table for all of your meals so they know what room to charge for drinks etc. Note: You will be asked to choose dinner the night before or no later than that AM. Although dinner is served 6-7:30, it seemed like the seating option was really 6pm and everyone was expected at that time. Rooms were a good size with outdoor seating space. Everything was immaculate throughout the buildings. Rooms do not have a/c or fans, but there are generous windows and doors and it was cool at night. However, smoking is permitted on the patios and balconies and smoke frequently drifted into our room at night -often waking us up. Rooms do not have irons, fridges, coffee makers or clocks. We were told there was no iron on site to be borrowed. The setting is bucolic and breathtaking, dinners were very good and Id recommend having at least one evening meal. Be aware that most material at the hotel (and in the area) is printed only in German and only a few staff had more facility with English (a challenge w our even more limited German skills).

  We had never experienced this before!

  We are experienced travelers and I have never received such unkind and rude treatment, never! We had to wait a very long time at check-in after the owner had received us while there were no other guests at the desk, when we asked for our key we were almost snubbed. After at het breakfast my girlfriend was verbally insulted by the owner just because she didn't order fast enough! Afterwards the owner promised us that he would make it right but afterwards he acted as if nothing had happened.
