  Amazing

  My partner and I visited Hacienda for a week and we have enjoyed every aspect of the Villa. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from Pererenan Beach, a short scooter ride or taxi into Central Canggu, the staff were always happy to drive us into Canggu for a very reasonable price. The cleaners were in our room every day, tidying up and making the villa look amazing, spraying for mosquitos and keeping it clean. Everything was amazing but the BEST part was Yogi, he looked after us every day and always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. When we come back to Bali, we want to stay here again because we know Yogi will make the stay so enjoyable again. I couldnt recommend Hacienda enough, 10 out of 10 in every way

  RUN AWAY !

  Hacienda was our first stop during our trip of 2 weeks in Bali for the second time. I've loved everything there, it's the reason why I came back with 3 other friends. All girls. First impression was good, but when we woke up the first morning money was missing from one of us. We didn't wanted to tell the hotel yet (because we wanted to be sure not to find the money anymore), at the end of the day we finally went to the reception to talk about it. The guy at the reception during the week-end didn't care at all! And even seem to say that happened few times but all the clients are liars. The problem wasn't just that a thief came to our home to take our money, it's that we were 4 girls alone and no one care. We heard the second night that someone came back to the house. So we decided to go. Monday the manager was there but it got even worst, they didn't stop to lie, they told us we have to put our money in the safety box (but the safety box wasn't working at all), they didn't help us and start to be strange. There is plenty of good hotels and spots in Bali. Go your way and find an other place. You won't have a bad opinion of the place and enjoy your travel.

  Your own private mansion!

  Hacienda definitely impresses. The booking I made was for just myself and my partner and what we received was an entire, two-story, two bedroom villa (the upstairs bedroom was locked, for obvious reasons). The villa was beautiful, with a massive pool, massive bed and beautifully decorated in Spanish New World style. The location is amazing, just a couple minutes walk away from some awesome cafes and bars, and 10 - 15 minutes walk from the heart of Canggu. If you're an early riser, I would point out that the nearby bar / hostel has audible music playing until around 10ish but, c'mon, no one is going to bed before 10 in Bali! The only downside to our stay was that due to a recent change in owners, the bar and restaurant that forms part of the accommodation was not operational. An understandable downside, given it was in the middle of renovation. I imagine by the time I post this review the restaurant will be up and running and better than ever! Oh FYI, the owners are also great people. I didn't even realise they were the owners at first, just took them for friendly locals, but they recommended some great places in Canggu to us and if you meet them I'm sure they'll help make your stay even better.

  Space and great design. Perfect to relax

  What a place! A lovely mix of Spanish and Balinese styles. Each room is tastefully decorated and the villas have been specifically designed to make the most of the beautiful views and big skies whilst maintaining up most privacy for guests. Huge comfy built-in king size beds. Beautiful indoor/outdoor bathrooms and loads of wardrobe space. A spacious place to breathe and relax away from the noise and hubbub of Canggu. Also felt safe, being part of the Hacienda estate of villas with limited access from elsewhere. As nature lovers, we loved the daily visits of the yellow vented bulbul (a bird), skinks, water monitor lizards and the evening chorus from nightjars and bats and frogs and crickets. Our villa had a breeding pair of large Tokay gekkos in the garden that we'd visit everyday to spot. The large pool is deep and perfect for cooling off during a hot day. It blends in well with the lovely garden.  All very Instagramable, if you own a selfie stick! Rooms are great size and airy. We did sunset o'clock on the balcony on most days. Really loved our time there. If I had to pick holes, the kitchen could do with a couple more pans and a bit more worktop space. My guess is that most guests will make the most of Monsier Spoon at the end of the road and the vast array of great local restaurants nearby (there are loads). Our month was an unusual one though so we spent more time than most eating at the villa, hence the critique. Also, the bike deliveries always went down the wrong side road.... The place is a piece of chic calm off the Pererenan drag with easy access to the beach and some great bites. Would be ideal for 2 couples or a small group of friends...

  Beautifully decorated and spacious villa!

  Upon walking in, it was like an oasis! It was so beautiful! We rented a one bedroom but we received a two bedroom. The second room door was locked. The place had a kitchen, living room with TV and of course a private pool which we spent a lot of time at. The pool was very private, so you could enjoy no eyes watching whatever you wanted to do. The only negatives were that hot water did not last very long. We ran out every time we took a shower, the TV was a bit old as it had lines down one side on the screen and the breakfast was rather simple. The place was clean, organized and landscaping was beautiful! We would highly recommend this place. They also arranged our motor bike rentals as well. Its away from the crazy Canggu beach side but it is a quick 15 minutes by motor bike. You can also walk to La Brisa, as it was less than 1k away.
