  Family Hotel With Strong Service Ethos

  This small family hotel is located above a family owned garage about 500 metres from Posnan's Srate of the Art Football Stadium recently renovated for Euro 2012, and about 5 kilometres from the centre of Posnan easily assessible by regular and cheap trams.The International Airport is a 15 minute taxi drive away . The rooms ( of which I belive ther are about 18) are modern,impeccably clean and modern in aspect if somewhat small with slanted ceilings meaning that if not careful you risk banging your head. A modern 22 inch flat screen television shows about 15 channels one English( BBC World) ons German and the rest Polish . The Receptionist, daughter of the owner, is both charming and extremely helpful making our stay a very pleasant one. Reception is closed from midnight to 6am and entry is made by magnetic card.Breakfast is of good quality served from seven to ten am served buffet style in a room adjacent to reception with a large flat screen tv . Sleep is difficult to acheive in this hotel as many guests drink beer at reception and continue reveling well into the early hours . At 1300 Zloty a night (£250 sterling) for a twin room ( we stayed two days) this a very expensive hotel and not good value .By way of comparison we have stayed in the 5 star Crowne Plaza in Moscow for less. Nevertheless the warm reception provided by the staff made our stay avery enjoyable one.
