Classy resort with warmService is absolutely great. Room is nice with great view. The pool is wonderful . Only setback is dinner. Limited dinner choices . Please make early reservation or else you could have a no dinner night and have to take a public bus to nearby town for food ...

Afternoon tea with a viewWonderful views across the bay from a UFO styled seating area. $500 NT minimum spend per person. Afternoon tea merely ok. Cakes a little dull. Quiche somewhat dry. Crepe Suzette was quite good.Drinks were decent. View was marvelous.

Good Hotel for Motoring in South TaiwanFor our holiday to the south of Taiwan in September, 2017, we chose the H Resort as part of a Jebsen Holidays package. Our flight landed in Kaohsiung where we spent a day and the following afternoon we took the shuttle bus belonging to H Resort from the pickup point near the Kaohsiung high speed railway station. We booked the shuttle bus seats online by emailing H Resort before we left Hong Kong on our holiday. It was a pleasant ride on a large tour bus and when we arrived at H Resort hotel staff was there at the entrance to help us with our luggage. The check in process was fast and the hotel staff was helpful. Our hotel rooms were very spacious and I believe all the hotel rooms have balconies facing the ocean as the hotel and its facilities are built on platforms cut out of a slope. The evening on the day of our arrival we paid to get on a hotel shuttle bus which took us into Hengchun, a historic town on the edge of the Kenting National Park. Since the shuttle bus schedule was limited and we wanted to see as many of the sights in Hengchun and the national park as possible in our three days there, we went into town the following day and rented a car. The H Resort is a good facility for guests who drive because it has a large expanse of open air and free carpark built into the slope of the property below the hotel building. Guests were driven to and from their cars by a hotel staff on an electric vehicle or golf cart. This resort hotel has enough facilities to keep its guests occupied without having to leave the hotel -- with its infinity pool, gymnasium, café and restaurants, souvenir shop and children's play area. The breakfasts in the H Restaurant each morning were very good with a large selection of healthy and tasty foods. The service was attentive and efficient. I noted that there were many families with children at breakfast and I imagined that this was a popular hotel for families to get away for a week end. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and really enjoyed the service, the spaciousness, the cleanliness and well-kept environment of the H Resort, and also the panoramic views from the balcony, and the UFO Lounge where we had afternoon tea.

ok.: 1.!!!!!!!! 1. Hotel provides one bottle of body wash. It is not enough for two females. 2.0700-10000910201000094509501000? 2. I stayed here during 3 day holidays in Taiwan (lots of people stayed here too). Breakfast opening time is 0700-1000. When I went to restaurant at 0910, you had to wait for 20 minutes. Server told everyone who waited for breakfast that restaurant provides breakfast until 1000, but we still can eat breakfast in there until 1030. However, they didn't continue providing breakfast. One dish is empty at 0945(time when I sought). Even though, servers remove empty dishes at 0950. I was very upset!!!!!! If you were cheap hotel, it might not be a serious problem. However, H resort is a five-star hotel!!!!!!!!! Initially, I want to give three star, but the view is awesome. Hence, I add one star for view.

Avoid1.Bed too soft and old and lumpy. 2.Room has moldy smell. For further proof just smell the carpets, note the dampness of the area around air con vent, plus vent frame itself accumulated a load of dirt. 3.No one asked why we checked out one day early when we did so at the front desk. Did receive a call a few minutes after we left, the main purpose was just to confirm we knew we would still be charged the last day even though we checked out early. The call only went towards what was wrong after I hinted and was a secondary reason for the call. Im very sorry that I happened to get a stomach ache on the same day and this might have impacted my review, but I am sick and tired of ocean side resorts that flaunt high class such as all floor carpeting, having curtains within an all glass bathroom, high ceiling/ hard to clean air con, without giving it a proper thought in terms of architect and design.... and end up becoming a moldy mess of a hotel room that no matter how good the public areas are, the experience cannot here salvaged.
