  Good standard, quite rooms, spacious.

  During a road trip in Germany I passed the village Willingen, a little beautiful place in a lovely area. Will return to spend a few more days here hiking on the hills. Many hotels in the area and I'm happy I picked the perfect one for me. I like well built and good quality (German/Scandinavian style), big spacious room, soundproof rooms/doors, comfortable bed. Very clean bathroom with a good shower. A small outdoor area with chairs and a table. I didn't have dinner at the hotel, dinner might be served depending on season, it might be limited (check with the hotel before you book). It is easy to take the car and find a restaurant in the near villages so wasn't a problem for me. Do some research before you go to make sure you find something in your taste. Breakfast was served downstairs in a lovely nordic stylish room. A wide selection of quality food to choose from. Had a lovely breakfast before I left for the next leg on my trip. Very friendly staff.

  nice view, very quiet

  If you visit this H+ hotel in the summer as we did(july2018)remember that it could become very hot in your room as there is no airco. Ask for a room with views out over the landscape because thats much cooler. Its a very quiet area and if you drive around it keeps very quiet. You can enjoy the views. Breakfast is very good. If you want to cook in your room and use the cupboards you can ask the key at the reception to open it since they are closed. There was no coffee machine.Wifi worked fine.Willingen is a nice cosy town and have many restaurants. You can visit several lakes at 1hour distance from the hotel . There you can swim, hire boats or get on the boat to go around the lake.If you arrive put your car direct in front of rhe entrance, Because in the hall there is a trolley which you can use to put your luggage on(free of charge). so you only walk 1 time with all your luggage on the trolley. have a nice stay

  Fantastic short trip

  For a long weekend my husband and I went with our children of 4 and 2 years old to stay at this hotel. Its located in a lovely village, just a 5 minute drive to Willingen center. To make sure our children had breakfast and dinner every night at the same time without waiting too long we used the half board facility. The food was surprisingly well and diverse. We loved the swimming facility and the indoor play room for the children. The staff was very friendly and we were very happy with the housekeepers who came in every day to make the room nice. The large room was wonderful. It even had an extra room that accommodated two persons. The master bedroom had a large bed where we could sleep all four of us when necessary. It even had room for a baby bed for our two year old. The view over the valley was great. Moreover the room had a small kitchen. The two tvs were of good quality and had a large variety of international channels. The area is also beautiful for short walks in the forest as we went to a large playground nearby the hotel. The hotel across also had a great playground outside with a small petfarm where we could come play. I am looking forward to stay in other H(+) hotels in the future and would highly recommend this one.

  Everything fine except weather

  We were already second time here. For us it's a nice place to spend short vacation, because it is situated in less than 100 km from our city. My children (6 and 8 y.o.) like this place. We come here at least once per year. Unfortunately, the weather this January was unusually warm. So we could ski only two days. Nevertheless, it didn't spoil the vacation. The hotel is nice. It has its own swimming pool and sauna. Not far from there one can find a large aqua park, skating hall and other places, interesting for the children.

  Good Hotel

  Dear reader, This is a good hotel. They are very clean and doing a lot to prevent the C.virus. Rooms are bigger than normal. Its a bit basic. Situation with breakfast and people and quality is ok. Unfortunately you can not have dinner in your room. Regards, Martijn
