  Amazing!

  We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Cornwall. On arrival, we were greeted by Jackie with a lovely warm welcome, who was absolutely amazing throughout our stay. Not only was she one of the loveliest people to chat to, but she was also extremely knowledgeable of the area and gave great recommendations of places to visit and eat. Our room was a great size and extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were probably the best we have ever eaten! The porridge was amazing with a great choice of other cereals too. The cooked breakfast was fantastic quality made with locally sourced ingredients and the portions were very generous in size. The B & B is very well located for the train station in St Austell and is only around a 20 minute walk to the harbour at Charlestown. It is also well situated to drive around to pretty much most of Cornwall. Now that we have discovered Gwyndra, there is nowhere else we would consider staying on future visits to Cornwall! Thank you Jackie for making our stay so fantastic!

  Another fab stay!

  Just back from my second stay at Gwyndra House and it was just as good as before. This time I stayed with a friend in the twin room which was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Cooked breakfasts were again really delicious and I like the system of choosing and completing order form the previous evening. Jackie (didn't see Jim this time) is such a lovely host that you actually feel that you're staying with a friend rather than in an 'establishment'. The position of Gwyndra is so convenient for both rail and bus stations and not much further to the town. All in all it is a great find and one that I hope to return to!

  Beautiful! Just Beautiful

  Jackie has one beautifully presented B&B. My husband, daughter and myself have just come home from a 3 day visit and was absolutely delighted with our stay! The rooms are so lovely with gorgeous views of St Austell. And the full English breakfast? It is to die for!! I searched high and low for a room, and had received extremely rude replies from other B&Bs and hotels in the area, in regards to having children stay at their hotel, so was desperate for a room when I spoke the Gwyndra House. Jackie welcomed my 7 month old daughter, had a room readily available for our 3 day stay and for that we are so grateful! We had a wonderful little family holiday and the icing on the cake was our wonderfully relaxing stay at Gwyndra House! See you next time!

  Lovely summer stay

  Stayed here last year for 3 nights in July. Jackie was a great host and no question was a problem. The bed was a good size and the shower was brilliant in my room. Jackie left breakfast slips for all the guests the night before so you can decide what you want to eat in the morning. It right around the corner from St Austell railway station. The nearest beach is Charlestown which is a 30 min walk but well worth it. Would stay here again for sure!

  Fabulous short break

  We booked a last-minute stay after an overseas holiday was cancelled. Jackie sent an email very quickly after we booked and the warmth of her welcome on our arrival matched that. Delightful place to stay - fantastic breakfasts - nothing was too much trouble. Well located to get to lots of local attractions too. We would definitely recommend Gwyndra House and I'm sure we'll be back!
