  Awesome Hotel!

  I was nervous because of some of the other reviews. I'm glad I didn't listen. We loved everything about this hotel. The room we had was beautiful. We had our dog with us. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel bar/restaurant had very good service.The staff wore masks. The breakfast was great. The location was perfect...on the beach and close to restaurants. So, in my opinion the world has lost it's mind and I'm personally grateful to have spent 4 days in a beautiful hotel. The end.

  Sooooo Loud!!!!!

  Dont stay here if you want a peaceful rest. The hotel is pet friendly and thats wonderful but it may explain the lack of carpet in the rooms and hallways. Sound echos so badly that the people having normal conversation in their room sound like they are in your room! You can hear everything!!! The ice machine, hallways conversations, doors closing EVERY sound echoed. We put towels in our door cracks to muffle the sounds. Thank GOD I brought ear plugs. There is room for a small couch or chairs to complete a seating area but its left empty. Bathroom needs attention like comfort height toilets. The ledge in the shower was falling off so everything had to be placed on the floor. Nice staff at check in he said awesome and cool beans a lot Lol. But very nice. They just need at address the acoustics to make a more pleasant stay.

  Balcony Nice to sit outside View of the parking lot is well a view of a parking lot Realize the view is quite terrible Who wants to sit outside and watch what goes on in a parking lot? No sun hits the balcony its like being on the dark side of the moon Work Time Desk rolls out from under a table to save space Desk is flimsy and rolls in and out if you lean on it quite annoying just dont touch the desk Tried working on my laptop and send emails that are not going through Received internet messages This site cant be reached Your connection was interrupted No internet try checking the network cables, modem, and router Internet connection is extremely slow 5 minutes to load a page if you are lucky otherwise you receive an internet connection error message Assuming hotel has subscribed to the cheapest internet plan and 100 people are trying to use it at once Determined I was not going to be able to work and grew to accept the consequences of not doing my work duties as it was my fault for choosing this hotel I havent seen internet that was so slow and didnt work like this in over a decade I feel like Guy Harvey needs to join the 21st century Bathroom Issues Strange humming noise coming from a vent in the bathroom Why is the toilet so low to the floor? No bathroom exhaust fan Tub was extremely slippery I stepped in the tub and slipped popping my knee out of socket Laid on the bathroom floor in pain wondering why me I had to lay a towel in the tub so I wouldnt slip and break my neck Shower water pressure is extremely low Water coming out of the shower has a slippery substance in it The slick substance in the shower water makes me feel slippery all over what is this in the water like seriously??? Whatever is in the water is making the tub extremely slippery and not safe The shower head is absolutely non adjustable just hope that the water hits you where you need The ceiling looks really terrible is that mold? Just dont look up The towels to dry off are very rough and stiff did these towels come from a prison facility by chance? Bedtime Bed is comfortable Queen size all to myself niiice Room air conditioner took some adjusting but I think I got it Had to close the bathroom door so the humming noise would stop Woke up at 3am in a sweat the room is too hot Woke up at 5am freezing the room is too cold Woke up at 7am the room is hot again what is going on??? Begin accepting that I might die in this room and my spirit will forever be trapped in this hell The song lyrics from Hotel California cane to mind You can checkout anytime you like but, you can never leave Woke up feeling like I was hit by a freight train Crawled to the coffee maker and cant get it to work had to disassemble and reassemble gave up Went to lobby and realized I forgot my mask to protect me from dying from the COVID-19 and asked for a complementary guest mask to which was denied. Front desk explained as summarized your health is of our most concern which is why we have a large selection of masks you can have so you wont die at only $10 a mask Left lobby to get my paper mask in room Went to lobby again to get coffee and its not complimentary to guests so purchased coffee and it was not good took a shower to help wake me up felt like I was in an oil spill from the slick substance in the water seriously what is this??? Saw some long hair that wasnt mine on the shower curtain and thought someone else knows my pain as they went through this too Wondering why I have been punished like this as I must have done something terrible in a previous life Checkout is 11am its the best thing to happen this morning I posted this review from home as I was not able to post this using the hotels internet

  Nice stay

  Overall, we had no major issues with our stay and enjoyed ourselves. Positives: Rooms were clean and well updated. We LOVED the bathroom sinks! Great location. The food and drinks were great and decently priced at the resort. The staff was friendly, especially the housekeepers! It was nice to have a Keurig in the room. Negatives: There was only one functioning elevator for the entire resort. This makes it difficult with covid social distancing! The pillows on the beds were small and hard.

  Excellent Experience

  We arrived early to a safely masked staff. They were a bit frazzled with several other parties arriving early. They couldn't yet accommodate us in our room early, but did offer the pool and beach while we waited. Super kind and cool! Pool looked nice and had a cute bar. Inside of lobby and bathrooms was exceptionally clean. Our room was pretty standard but was clean. Kids loved the bunkbeds. Great price for a straight walk to a lovely beach and excellent service. Really nice outdoor areas to hangout and even have an outdoor fire and drink. Gym looked adequate. Requested extra towels and had no problem receiving. We would definitely visit again. This is a prime location.
