  Limpio y buena atencion

  Estuvimos en Gunbaru Inn por al menos 2 semanas. Es pequeño pero con todo para que estés confortable. El único pero y el porqué no lo califiquè como excelente, es que el restaurante y su carta de comidas es muy aburrido y después de 15 días terminas buscando comer afuera.

  Amazing place to stay!

  Guest experience is truly at the heart of everything at Gunbaru. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt super well looked after by the amazing people at Gunbaru - nothing is too much trouble. The trips they can organise, especially snorkelling, are exceptional, and very good value. We swam with mantas, sharks, dolphins, turtles and an abundance of tropical fish. We also saw turtles 5 times at the edge of the reef right off Gunbaru beach (around 4pm seems to be a good time to catch them). Ukulhas has a fantastic house reef, and you can lose yourself for hours on the lush beaches or swimming in the warm water. Awesome breakfast and food available at Gunbaru. Whole place spotlessly clean. Great attention to detail at this wonderful family run guesthouse. We came for our 10th anniversary and they really couldn't have made it more special. I'd recommend it to anyone on a budget wanting a top value trip to the Maldives.

  Great Island, Amazing Staff

  I really loved the island and the staff of Gunbaru, Lateef, her daughters, and Pruna have made our holiday really special. The staff of Gunbaru Inn were very friendly and accommodating. Lateef was very hands-on. He was there for us from the moment we arrived in Ukulhas and he was still there to send us off when we were leaving for another island. He also made sure that we were perfectly oriented with the safety protocols of both the inn and the island. Although we came at a bad weather, Lateef suggested several activities that we really enjoyed. Pruna has been very warm and is super friendly. I also loved the conversations I had with Lateef's daughter about the Maldivian culture and some personal stuff. The inn is just a few steps away from the tourist beach and there are some good restaurants in the island, too.

  Amazing Location, Excellent staff, Great activities

  We stayed in Gunbaru Inn for 3 nights in February 2021. First of all, the staff is amazing, Abel Latheef is so knowledgeable, kind, patient and resourceful!! The rest of the staff is so kind and professional. They really made our stay perfect. The hotel has an amazing location, right at the beach where the reef is so beautiful, we saw so many black tip sharks and turtles, it's also right next to a fruit kiosks with beautiful chill out gardens, hammocks and swings, makes for a perfect hang out at sunset. The hotel also made sure to schedule all our activities with the best guys we could hope for, Fox and Ahdhu. There are no words to describe how kind and giving these two are. We went with them on all our activities: Swimming with mantas, snorkeling safari, night fishing and house reef snorkeling, by the end of it, we felt like we were hanging out with friends. The hotel also put us in contact with a diving center and followed up with us to make sure the experience was perfect. I really cannot recommend this place enough, it was humbling to see such kind, giving and generous people. Really, Gunbaru Inn won over our hearts. thank you for everything <3

  Just lovely place and people

  The place and the Island is pretty much unspoilt although is getting busier. Ukulhas is very quiet and lovely, As there are no resorts there alcohol is not available and cannot be brought in That makes it even more perfect, you can get a day trip to a resort if you want to. I loved it there and go out VERTY VERY VERY early and if so you may get to swim with just you and the mantra
