  Gran hotel con todo tipo de comodidades.

  Este hotel cuenta con unas instalaciones nuevas y muy bien cuidadas. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, muy bien cuidadas y muy limpias. Con todas las comodidades disponibles y con una categoría de cuatro/cinco estrellas a nivel europeo. El personal muy amable y en todo momento nos ayudó. El desayuno excelente, muy completo y de muy buena calidad. El transporte al aeropuerto estaba incluido, y fue en un coche privado, muy nuevo y limpio. La calle del hotel cuenta con algunas tiendas y restaurantes, y la zona central de la ciudad está a unos minutos andando. Aunque si no te apetece salir, el restaurante también cuenta con buenos restaurantes.

  Big Hotel with Standard Services

  We stayed only 1 night in this hotel after our year end holiday in Yogyakarta before back to Jakarta. We stay at 5 star hotel but nothing special for this hotel compare our 4 star hotel in Yogyakarta. Check in process easy and fast also with welcome drink. Big hotel with modern style. Bed Room & Bath Room very big. Room size around 40m2. Good style for bath room with bathtub and shower box. Some property not in the good maintainance. Trush bin in bath room broken. Dirty spots at rain shower & work station. Carpet in the aisle needs to be cleaned. Breakfast is good, mixed traditional & western menu. Good breakfast but not for services. No direction to get the table. The outstanding service only coming from the stuff in gym. He is very polite, friendly & communicative. He was explained very well and details for the facility.   Best choice in Semarang

  #javaroadtrip December 2019. First stop @gumayatowerhotel Semarang. Best choice in Semarang. We have stayed here every time we visited the town (3-4 times already). Always satisfied with the quality of their service and facilities. So sorry that we only have pictures from the newly-renovated lobby. Rooms were great: spacy, very clean, well-equipped, heavenly bed, good view, well-lit, separated shower and bathtub. Buffet breakfast was good, their gudeg was so yummy. The size of their swimming pool was the only thing that did not fulfill the 5* standard. Gym was great. Definetely will be back when in town

  Nice hotel in city center

  I stayed here for business trip for 1 night only. The hotel was lux, room was spacious and comfort with bath tub. There was a lounge on the top for relax in the evening. Service and breakfast were also good.

  Pluses and big minus during corona times

  This time we changed the hotel because in the first hotel we stayed swimming pool was broken. At Gunaya Hotel we already stayed in the past and thought very possitive to stay but sadly this time was a dissapointment... one of my kids had my card and ran off and i asked many staff to bring and join me to the 7h floor and explained in bahasa that my child is alone.. after 20 minutes someone was only willing to help while one of my other kids already arrived very unproffesional after explaing to many of the staff who could have joined me... no reaction from the management as well... at the breakfast we told the staff that guest should wear tje mask at the foodstations... the staff didnt care we complained 3 times at the breadstation... in bahasa as well they didnt care at all if guests walked around without masks as many guests did...for a 5 star hotel corona regulations are not followed as we would feel more comfortable... breakfast was still good... inside the room the bathtub was leaking but wr had only short stay so we accepted the flooding... swimming in the pool limited as well because of corona... normally Gumaya our number 1 choice this time very dissapointed breakfast staff not trained well (breadarea) and no one from management reached out after incident with our child... have to improve to have us back as we already came before and normally always recommend this hotel... we reached out and asked for talk with management since no one came back to us we decided its better to leave a comment at tripadvisor to have hopefully an improvement for future guests to come... hope those comments help on training staff to handle on a situation if a small kid is in a different floor to get to the kid fast and not waste 20 minutes and we solve it by ourself and also hope that rules during corona will be taken serious and staff will be trained better (rooms clean, nice hotel, readonable breakfast so reduced during corona)
