  Muy buena localización, no nos gusto tanto!!

  La principal sorpresa fue llegar y no encontrar baño privado, por el precio por noche reservado esperaba encontrar baño privado realmente!!1 El sitio es bastante central y muy cerca de diferentes atracciones y estaciones de bus, todo muy limpio y es bueno probar la típica habitación japonesa, eso estuvo bien. Como salimos muy temprano no pudimos hacer check out porque entre 11 y 7 am nadie atiende.

  Excellent guesthouse experience with a friendly host

  We were not sure whether we should spend the night in Nara or visit Nara as day trip from Kyoto. Thankfully, we decided to spend the night in Nara at the Tsunoya Guesthouse. Not only was the Guesthouse clean, comfortable, pleasant and well situated, but our friendly host recommended an excellent local restaurant for dinner, which we much enjoyed.

  Best place to stay in Nara

  Everything was perfection. The room was spacious and clean, quiet at night and bright during the day. The location was just perfect. You can simply walk a few minutes and arrive at great touristic spots, while staying in a quiet area. There are many great restaurants nearby. And the staff was great. Kind and warm, with great tips about what to do. Would defenitely stay here again! :)

  Really enjoyed staying in Nara, good location too!

  My first night in Japan - Airport to train, train to Tennoji, train to Nara, bus to stop N13 and walk to Tsunoya. I'd planned to be tired, the staff got me checked in and got me into the room, explained all the details of getting in and out of the room and building, told me where the best Izakaya restaurant was, and then helpfully gave me maps and sent me on my way for the rest of the day ... which ended after I'd seen a few gorgeous buildings, met a few deer, gazed up at the 5 story pagoda and lay down on some grass by the lake and fell asleep ... Zzzzz ....

  Best location, very comfortable rooms, super clean, super kind staff!

  We stayed in the double room with loft and private bathroom and we loved it! The location is just the best in town: you will be just in the old town next to Nara Park. You can walk to all of the touristic places, so you can make the best out of your time in Nara and get to know the city with no hassle. The room is spacious, super clean, new, and modern. It has AC, a desk and chair, space for your luggage. In the common area there's a desk and a computer you can use. Theres also a cold and hot water dispenser, a microwave, and a fridge you can use, which makes it really convenient to grab a bite. They also have a very cool bar / restaurant open all day. They also provide laundry service which is very convenient. The staff speaks really good English and is super helpful and kind. They gave us a lot of useful advice and we had very interesting conversations about Japan and its culture. We have really good memories of Nara and this hostel, do not hesitate to stay here for a perfect stay!
