  convenient r+r

  I used this hotel as a return to civilisation after camping at a music festival in the Croatian countryside. Very clean, good amenities, modern building, helpful and quite superb food (with a huge breakfast included in the tariff). Strong wifi signal, a touch pricey for a basic room, but it was high season in the Adriatic i guess... rather a long way out of the town, a good 30 minute walk to the old city and the numerous sights (and the bus station), but not a major hassle if you are happy to walk or hail taxis. Immediately opposite a large supermarket for any shopping needs. If you have any mobility issues this is not a good place as there is not a lift. Would stay here again for sure.

  Sink your teeth into some succulent lamb

  There are a number of vegetarian options as well! This is one of our favourite restaurants in Zadar and we go there, and take others, often. Tamaris is extremely well known for its lamb and there are often two spit roasting in the outside grill area. Lamb together with Peka cooked potatoes, an absolute delight. We have tried most dishes on the menu and would not fault any of them. Linda's particular favourite is their chocolate cake which was on the menu originally and has been so popular, it is still there. As it is also an hotel, it appears to be used a lot by business people. But is also very popular with tourists and locals and is popular for special events. Highly recommended

  Clean and newly refurbished rooms.... And that is it

  Hotel is app 30 min away from city-centre. Rooms are newly refurbished and clean. As Tamaris is mainly a restaurant known for lamb, it does smell all day long. Being a vegeterian, this is pretty disgusting. There is no buffet table for breakfast and not much to choose from... The only reason why our secretary book this hotel is price-quality ratio... And this one is great. But this is definitly the last time we are going here...

  Genial atención

  Es un hotel de carretera por lo que muy bien si se tiene que aparcar. No tiene ascensor, pero las habitaciones estan limpias y disponen de todo lo necesario. Tanto en el hotel como en el restaurate nos atendieron super bien, el desayuno muy correcto.

  6 nights in Tamaris

  We spent 6 nights in Tamaris. Our accomodation was clean and well-equipped. There was cleaning everyday. We got a entry card which was confortable instead of a key. The breakfast was the usual continental foods (like scrambled eggs, cold meats, cereals,..) The old center is about 10 minutes by car. It is worth the price.
