  Nice hotel, amazing food !

  we spent one night only at this hotel, in January 2014, and were particularly satisfied by the room service, the quality of food from the internal restaurant and breakfast as well. The location is not that close to other attractions but if you have a car this is not a problem. Would suggest this hotel.

  top service, excellent stay !

  We made a reservation for 10 nights (June 2014). From the arrival to the departure the hospitality of the staff was extrodinary well. They responded every question at once !! The kitchen was very good to excellent. With its central location all the major interesting spots are nearby. Worthwhile for an extra stay in Umbria. Thank you Guesia VH&S !

  Fabulous Diamond in the hills.

  We are 8 USA visitors traveling Italy who planned to spend one night at Guesia Hotel while on way to Sorrento. Found this hotel and stayed longer. Beautiful scenery and grounds. Service is impeccable. Food is one of best meals we had during our stay. This is no chain hotel. We met the owner who was on-site. Hotel is close to Assisi and Spello, where we did side trips. Worth the 10 minute drive up the mountain.

  Not for Americans!

  Terrible experience! One main reason we picked this hotel was for the air conditioning. Upon arrival at the hotel, Maurizio at the front desk barely looked up to greet us. As we stood there to check in, he left the front desk without even acknowledging our presence. Finally, we got his attention because a person in our party struck up a conversation with him in Italian. This seemed to make him a bit more friendly (even though he DID speak english!) and he checked us into our hotel apartment. After getting into our hotel apartment, we noticed the air conditioning was not functioning. This was a big problem since it was extremely hot. When we went to the front desk to speak to Maurizio, he threw a tantrum, slamming the phone and shoving it across the front desk. Maurizio's behavior was extremely unprofessional and his outburst scared my kids. He also made it extremely obvious that he did not like Americans! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you are an American!

  Very, very nice hotel

  We went to Umbria in september 2014. Very nice area in Italy. Stayed in the Guesia hotel in Foligno. The hotel is very nice located in the mountains about 8 km of the city centre of Foligno. It has many facilities like a sauna, swimming pools, little fitness area, ... which we didn't use because we don't travel that far to do all those things. We want to see the area. But for people who do like to do those things on vacation, it's available. There's also a great garden with many lounges where you can enjoy a drink from the bar. We had a very nice and very large room with a big balcony. Actually, this was our best hotel-room ever. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast was very comprehensive and tasty. Different kinds of bread, flakes, yoghurt, fruits, spreads, ... If you want an omelet, the cook is waiting to make you one. The restaurant: Wow! Dinner over there was absolutely fabulous. Every day exquisite great food and always something different. Big thumbs up for the cook(s). Actually big thumbs up for all of the personnel. Cleaning ladies, receptionist, waiters, ... everybody was very friendly and did their job with big enthousiasm. Considering we were over there near the end of the season, this proves their commitment to their guests. This hotel is really recommended by us, you won't regret your stay!
