  very quite and isolate

  Very quite and isolate.Where we stayed when it rained all the water came down the stairs via the roof doors. One of the beds was like sleeping on a cardboard box. The downstairs patio did not lock and did not feel secure at all. Overall okay but i would not recommend to anyone staying with children as electrical wiring hanging loose and open. I think house number was 109 grove gardens owned by a English guy named peter. Much up keep is needed here and is well overdue.

  excellent accommodation with a fantastic swimming pool complex and great for children at very reasonable reates

  Grove Gardens on the East Coast of Phuket at Cape Yamu is away from the unattractive tourist element of Phuket. The facilities are excellent and the resort is well managed. The premises are not run like a hotel and most are permanently occupied by Europeans, who work in Phuket. There is no restaurant but good food can be ordered in from nearby at Baan Yamu. The swimming pool complex is outstanding and more than makes up for then west coast beaches being about 20 minutes away. You can easily rent local taxis to access the beaches and many good restaurants are also within 5-25 minutes away. Ideally, renting a car would be a sensible option if staying here and good small cars are available for around 800 baht a day from outside the airport. Grove Gardens residences have full kitchens and we were able to obtain all the food we needed from the market and shops near the Heroines' Monument 5 minutes away. The nearest large supermarket was about 10 minutes away by car. All in all, we really enjoyed staying at Grove Gardens and would love to return.

  Not for tourists at all

  Be informed that this is just private property. You will not have anything to serve you as a tourist. Too far away from everything. No taxi service available. Here you can't find any food court or restaurant. No room service.

  Peace & Tranquility in Paradise

  Perfect setting away from the main tourist areas on the West Coast. 20 minutes drive from the airport through local Thai villages and you reach this wonderful resort. The pool is amazing and the staff attentive and so very polite. Ideal for long stays of one month or over.

  4 Years of Fun

  We lived a Grove Gardens for almost 4 years. A long holiday yes, the development is a mix of long term residents and short term guests. It is situated on the East Coast of Phuket on Cape Yamu. This is away from the crowds on the west coast, all be it a 15 minute drive to the beaches. Yes a car is essential and many can be found at reasonable rates just ask at reception. The accommodation is in 12 two bedroom apartments, 12 three bedroom apartments and 12 three bedroom large town houses. There are 3 pools, including child's pool, scuba pool an 50 m main pool and Jacuzzi. A small 3 hole golf practice area and tennis court. The landscaping is stunning and the staff are fantastic. Total relaxation.
