Correcto. Excelente atencionEs un hermoso hotel, con una disposición distinta porque las habitaciones no están en el mismo edificio que la recepción y el restaurante y el terreno tiene ondulaciones y escalones. La atención de los mozos del bar y del restaurante es excelente. El restaurante cierra a las 9 por lo que para los sudamericanos es un poco temprano. Las habitaciones son cómodas y amplias. La catedral cave dentro del precio del hotel es un plus. La playita también es hermosa.

Worst Experience EverSo many things to say about how disappointing our stay here was. We had previously been in a different hotel on Bermuda and needed to get one additional night because our flight had been moved. The star rating at Grotto Bay looked fine, so we figured wed be fine here for just the one night before our morning flights. All I can say is, DONT STAY HERE! As soon as we entered our room we noticed a nasty moldy smell and werent sure where it was coming from. We chocked it up to the humidity and the room being a bit older, and went to dinner at the restaurant. The menu there was pathetically small our options were basically wings, chicken fingers, a burger, or a salad, or a wildly overpriced prix fixe. The servers were completely uncoordinated, with several of them coming over to the table separately and asking us the same questions about if we wanted bread or a drink. And then we had to flag someone down when our plates were dropped off with several items missing. Meanwhile, there were several rugby teams staying on the property who pretty much turned the dining area into their own personal beer hall loud, poorly behaved, and obnoxious. Not once did any of the staff go over and ask them to tone it down. Was a total free-for-all, and there were several other tables in the restaurant who had to put up with the nonsense. We got back to our room to relax and go to sleep early for our flight in the morning, and took off our shoes for the first time in the room. To our horror, our socks got wet immediately with a brown, putrid-smelling liquid because the ENTIRE FLOOR WAS WET WITH SOMETHING. And our socks and feet then smelled horrid. As if someone had vomited in the room and the staff tried to clean it up, but it never got fully clean and never dried. We had to wash our feet in the (moldy) tub and put on shoes to walk back through the room. It was too late for us to try to get another room because we needed to sleep. So we just went to bed with shoes on the side of the bed so we didnt have to step on the floor again. Needed to put all of our bags (which had been on the floor for hours) on the furniture so that they could dry out. When we told the front desk about the room this morning when checking out, the only response we received was Ok. Heres your bill. Not even one apology or Im sorry to hear that or feigned attempt to give a damn. Just handed over a bill for an overpriced marginally passable dinner in the restaurant. And the room was still $400+ !!! What an absurd ripoff! Didnt even offer to comp our dinner for the fact that the room should have been condemned. Would NEVER recommend this place and NEVER stay here again. Stay at the Rosewood instead its worth the extra money to actually be able to stay in a place that isnt squalid like Grosso Bay

A fantastic holiday at Grotto BayWe selected Grotto Bay after reading many reviews, liking the resort pictures and the amazing deal they had during our travel dates. We couldn't be happier. Everyone and I mean everyone from the doorman, wait staff, front desk, cleaning staff and bar staff are so friendly and fun. The resort is beautiful, private beach, wonderful pool and fabulous rooms. We wanted a beachfront room and this didn't disappoint. This was our first time to Bermuda, we came to celebrate my husband's 60th Birthday...that happened to be during covid. They took every precaution to keep everyone safe. We pretty much had the resort to ourselves or so it seemed. Loved the Cathedral cave, took a swim in it to say we did. We didn't do the all-inclusive meal package but did have most breakfasts there as well as a couple dinners. The food was good, I would have enjoyed a uple more dinner options but it all worked out. The only negative I have is that the hot tub was closed. I really would have loved to soak in the hot tub at the end of the day...next time. Resort is on a hill so if you struggle to walk up or down hills or stairs this isn't the resort for you. We will be back for sure!

Restaurant - staff Superb!: Rest of staff below average!*This is the most challenging review that I have to write. All of the restaurant staff - including both the chef and the waiters, was superb - extremely attentive and caring and warm! *The Reception area has been staffed with people with various levels of competence - some seem to be knowledgeable, while others were proving completely wrong information and never kept their promises when they were supposed to check on information that they did not have handy. *The gardens and landscaping are beautiful. **Rooms are outdated, the bathtub is severely broken, humongous bugs in the bathroom. ***The worst experience was with housekeeping. When we first went into the room that was assigned to us, it was unmade, dirty, and plain gross. It is a pretty hilly property and no staff helps you with the luggage. We had to go back to the reception area which is on the top of the hill, and then without even an appology we were sent to another room - with all of of our luggage to carry. We had asked the room maintenance staff to only take care of the bathroom, which means that they only had to bring clean towels, collect garbage and clean the bathroom. On day three even this small room maintenance did not take place, so I had to go back to the reception desk in the evening to ask for the third r time for some bathorm towels and I took care of my garbage. It was extremely disappointing that the front desk personal again did not seem to care much. ***Given a chance, experience the restaurant and the enjoy the views, but look for another property with better customer service and cleaner rooms.

Perfect Getaway!Spent five days in December 2020 at the fantastic Grotto Bay Resort and found that it was the perfect getaway from New York City (2 hours away). Some of the excellent staff include Liviu and Lenia in the restaurant. Liviu provided us with excellent service for several meals and Lenia brought us an entire pitcher of homemade sangria after we told her of our love for sangria). As for COVID protocols, we felt completely safe at the resort and in Bermuda in general.
