  Will stay here again on buiness

  I stayed her for 6 nights,the room was quiet and comfortable, all of the staff very helpful, the restaurant was very busy, the food was good quality, but the menu very limited, most of the choices very similar. I will definitely stay here when I`m next working in the area.

  Good but some fine tuning needed

  Bed and Breakfast hotel and falls short on both. And I had a suite. Hopefully will be better in the new wing when finally open. Poor lighting in room. Explained as construction work on new hotel wing had meant a window had been blocked up but overall lights in room are poor. Ceiling LEDs that barely light the room. Strange changes in level with a step up to tiles bathroom area. Weird and stained corner sofa that was not in a corner and a huge coffee table that had to be moved to prevent shin damage when moving around the bed. No desk or table (unable to work on emails) which is strange in such a big room. Poor power socket locations not close to any seating. Very complicated digital bath controls. Took me 30 minutes to work out how to run bath Shame room lighting is so poor when jacuzzi bath with LED lights must have cost a lot. Had to climb into the bay / dorma window area around bath to close shutters on window that did not prevent early morning sunlight from illuminating room and waking me up. See picture. Thats as dark as it got and you can see where you have to climb to close all 4 shutters. Windows dont cut out any traffic sound from road outside. Albeit a fairly quiet road. Came down for breakfast at 8.30am. Pleasant breakfast lady but poor and depleted buffet selection that looked like leftovers - assume people breakfast early and I got what was left... a half cut piece of bread, 2 buns, 2 lonely danish, 1 slice of cheese and 1 small wrinkled piece of ham plus selection of cereal. Very poor. Strange as evening restaurant is excellent. Evening meal excellent as are evening staff. I will stay again but only as it is convenient for where I need to be.

  Very nice Hotel with a Quality Restaurant

  I had a long stay in this hotel and I found it very good for the purpose I used it. Although not in a city center , you need a car to go and find other restaurants or shops, the hotel has one of the best restaurants in the area with high quality food. It offers laundry every Monday and Thursday for 10euro a bag unlike other hotels in the area with much higher charges. The only thing I can say I did not like are the thin walls between the rooms in busy days otherwise its a quiet hotel with excellent service and very clean rooms. A new section with 50 more rooms I hear will be delivered mid August . I will stay here again for sure.

  Annie and Pauls 2019 holiday

  We arrived late at the Grenshotel de Jonckheer after driving through horrendous traffic in pouring rain and the sight of the hotel lightened our spirits. It looked modern and fresh and welcoming. And it was. We received a warm welcome from the receptionist and were very glad to be shown to our room. It was quite impressive with a super huge bed covered in two welcoming duvets. The room was large and had a nice window area with an easy chair. The bathroom was clean and bright with nice fluffy towels. One or two negatives however: the room was cold and continued to be during our stay. In fact the hotel in general felt cold. Also, the lighting was very dim and poor throughout. The lights in the bedroom were so dim it was impossible to read once it became dark. Apart from those couple of points we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

  Easy accommodation.

  Nice rooms, lovely breakfast, very nice bar and restaurant. A little off the beaten track but great for me as staying in Antwerp with its traffic issues in the morning and evening can be a pain. Highly recommended.
