  STAYED 2 WEEKS

  I went back for Come Home Year. I stayed 2 weeks. PROS: Very quiet, exchanging towels and sheets for new ones were not a problem for me. I aked for a fan early on and had it ready in my room if I needed it. I had done my homework and read the reviews beforehand. I cannot say enough how very friendly, courtious, knowledgeable, helpful, complying with the supplies, and professional the YOUNG people on the desk were, and not just to me but to everyone. They were a true compliment to the front door of the facility. If any of them go on to work in the hospitality sector in the future, they will be excellent. Im sorry I did not get all your names but if you were under 25, my compliments. My room came with a continental breakfast, which was fine. The distance to the city was fine. Yes it was warm but take into account they do not have heat waves too often there, but there was a little breeze, which was fine. CONS: On the first morning, I inquired from an older lady who managed the place, what I should do with my dishes. She said " wash them". Ok, I did, like a good kid I am at 65!!!. I noticed the men were not washing theirs. I asked them if they have to, they say "no". I observed from then on and that lady never spoke to or nodded or smiled at me at all, which is her choice but I did notice that the men were treated differently, ok, again her choice. Now a rude person will not make or break my vacation, but, it will make or break a resort. When I was checking out I said to her, nicely, "would you like to do an inspection before I go", she snapped and said, " if you put holes in the wall or damaged the room, I have your credit card", Wow, that was certainly a unique way of saying, thank you for choosing our establishment and hope you come again!!! That being said, this was a lovely place and please give it a try!! I would certainly chose this building again. Deborah Coll

  Clearbrook stay

  Staff was great. room was small but did appreciate the shower in the room as opposed to having to walk down to a communal shower, which has been my experience when staying at the residences of several other universities.

  Grenfell Stay on our Vacation

  The Grenfell Accommodations were one of the best on our recent trip through western/northwestern Newfoundland. Clean, great location and value for the price. I would highly recommend to other travelers in the area.

  Is what it is, but it's really good at that

  I stayed at the Grenfell Campus Summer Accommodations twice this summer. It as a clean quiet and friendly dormitory. When I say dormitory, I didn't have to share a room or a bathroom. It's not a hotel, but if you're looking for very affordable clean, quiet accommodation you should try this.

  Great stay!

  We stayed at Grenfell Campus for 5 days last week and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. Ive stayed here before and chose to again because I enjoyed it. We were in the old building, the Arts and Science building. The rooms are small but its what you expect at a college dorm room and for the price its great as you are out exploring all day and just need a place to sleep. We enjoyed having the kitchen available to make some meals and having read the website we knew to bring our own items. The kitchen was kept very clean and tidy and we tried to keep it that was as well. Last time I was there, there was an issue of security coming through at night and slamming the door on his way which wasnt the best when trying to sleep but this time was much better and they quietly closed the door. Overall a great stay and Ill stay again if Im in the area during the summer months as its a great budget friendly option!
