    Excelente punto excelente vista

    No hay que perderse esta ciudad a un paso de Venecia, el hotel un palacete reformado, un poco saladito de precio, pero para una noche no se nota tanto. Excelente atención, el desayuno espectacular y las habitaciones amplias con todas las comodidades, hasta balanza existía en el baño, para controlarse los kilos que aumentamos en los viajes. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

    Demasiado caro

    El hotel en si está muy bien. Las habitaciones son grandes, limpias y cómodas. Pero el precio por una noche es exagerado, no es un cinco estrellas aunque lo pongan. El parking gratis es un plus, pero está demasiado lejos del centro.

    Failed at second chance

    This is a first, as Ive never had the opportunity to revisit a place Ive left a negative review for however my wife insists on staying here because it is close enough to her relatives home we can see their home from the balcony. Good news, they have replaced the warped hallway flooring with new carpet as well as the corroded bathroom fixtures - both a plus. Bad news is despite this being the coolest & wettest spring in Trieste in 70 years, the room is still a hot sweat box. Sure, it is easy enough to open the balcony door, but then you have to suffer through the constant loud traffic noise. To put it plainly, the air conditioning here still does not work. Thankfully, due to the colder than average weather, we made it. The breakfast hasnt improved much either. Not particularly bad, but not particularly worth looking forward to. They did have a nice assortment of different fruit tarts & pastries this year. The best news? My wife promised me she would never book us here again after threatening her with a divorce!

    GOOD EXPERIENCE

    The hotel is in a great position. I had sea view from my bedroom. The staff was extremely kind and efficient. There was safe parking for my car. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, with buses that take you everywhere in Trieste. The room was comfortable and had been recently updated.

    Okay but the room needs some updating

    Nice friendly receptionist. Not your typical reception desk but instead a nice antique desk and chairs await you while you check in. My room was a bit outdated and could have been better for this class of hotel. The furniture was well used and the wooden window shades did not close properly. It was rather disappointing that we had to wait for service at the bar. It was the same person at the front reception. No bartender. Since the owners are trying to save money on labour then this hotel should be down graded. I did not try out any of the amenities of the hotel but the swimming pool looked nice. Breakfast was okay but not great for this class of hotel. It was nice to sit on the Terrace and view the sea across the building in front of the hotel. This hotel is not seaside by any means.
