  Very cheap rates but it is shown in the quality of the room. Walls had huge cracks in them, mosquito net had numerous holes in it, no toilet paper provided (so make sure you take some with you) our shower didn't work in our private bungalow so had to use the outdoor shower room which is for the dorm. The mattress is very uncomfortable and you can feel every spring inside it. Also it can be loud at night (dogs barking/howling and traffic) as the walls are very thin. Our 3 night stay was pleasant enough and we made the most of what we had. The staff are nice and they do provide a free breakfast each morning. My only other issue was that when we arrived to check in no one was around and after waiting for 2 hours, a really nice guy staying in the dorm called the manager and someone arrived, but they couldn't speak English and we had to try and speak with some one else on their phone despite us showing them our booking in the diary after another 20 mins we were given a key. Overall not too bad, I guess when you don't pay a lot you can't expect much.

  Best in this price.

  Excellent stay here!We stayed two night here.Nice breakfast,friendly staff .You can drink some beer here in the cold night and set a fire pit to keep yourself warm!It's little bit far away from the town,20 minutes by walking,suggest to take a scooter,other than this,for me it was perfect stay!

  Peace and quiet in pai

  We had a lovely stay in greenhouse. The owner, her husband and her beautiful little daughter were so welcoming and caring. They treated us like real guests and even dropped us to the town one evening. It was lovely to chill out with them in the evening and play guitar with them. The location is about 20 minutes from the town which may put some people off, but it is so peaceful and it's a lovely walk up and back. We stayed in a bamboo hut which was pretty basic but had everything we needed, plus hot water which was a surprise! Also breakfast was included and much better than other hostels we stayed in. This is the best value hostel we've stayed in in Northern Thailand. I would definitely recommend it!

  Lovely stay at Pai

  We where going to stay for a couple of days and at the end we stayed for 5 days, beautiful place, cheap, quiet and runed by a lovely thai family that treated us GREAT. Bonfire in the evening and great vibes!
